Allies turn on US as Trump sparks trust crisis worldwide
China? https://interestingengineering.com/space/china-microwave-weapon-fry-satellites I didn't link original article from SCMP as it's behind paywall, but this should do. It's on the same topic. UK? https://www.gov.uk/government/news/boost-for-armed-forces-as-new-laser-weapon-takes-down-high-speed-drones British have also built a laser-based long range weapon which works similarly - blowing things up from a distance at negligible costs, however Chinese microwave gun can damage/destroy anything with electronics in them from much further away. EU has its own military industry as well... Sweden, France, Italy, Germany,... just needs to scale up production, remove and replace any parts that rely on uncontrolled technology, and pick that instead. US weapons are not "better" when they can be remotely turned off without notice. You can see how that looks like in a baby example: https://www.independent.co.uk/bulletin/news/porsche-russia-car-satellite-disabled-b2881823.html Now imagine your plane "stops working" in flight or your weapons get disabled just as you're about to use them... That's certainly NOT a "better" weapon, as being dependable and reliable are the core requirements for the military.

Older phones / OS versions lack security updates (you can check in About Phone what your last security update was - for Android 10, that was in 2022!). Here is the volume of vulnerabilities of Android 10 (oldest allowed OS by the banks - feel free to click on red squares for details of each vulnerability): https://www.cvedetails.com/version/607648/Google-Android-10.0.html I try to imagine those "older expats" explaining to immigration on visa extension day why their bank statement shows 0 as they got their old phone or PC compromised... I bet those guys will be really sympathetic of the situation... not.- Mobile Banking Apps Blocked on Outdated Devices Starting Feb 14
This is about mobile phones, though, not about computers.- Mobile Banking Apps Blocked on Outdated Devices Starting Feb 14

- Trump Criticizes US Olympic Skier Hunter Hess as 'Real Loser'
It was just a mirror up to a guy holding British passport and being a staunch critic of Britain. Or a "spoiled brat and disgrace to the nation" as he puts it. So maybe he should just give that away and let a patriot take his place. Also note you're talking about democracy while going all out to support a man who trampled on free speech, rights and freedoms of his country's citizens, uses threats of lawsuits to shut up opponents, violates constitution and openly calls for elections to be cancelled. Very democratic, Sir.- Trump Criticizes US Olympic Skier Hunter Hess as 'Real Loser'
Agree. In same fashion, you should be stripped of your UK passport.- Foreign Man Shocked After Winning Lottery But No Cash Prize

Absolutely. I've become a nasty old man and love it! And thank you for sharing of Flybird condo. Not my type of dwelling, nor the town I'd even want to visit, let alone live in. But since you're bringing it up, you must be familiar. Your old home? Classy!- Fury Erupts Over Potential Starmer Brexit Referendum—'Bonkers' Idea Sparks Debate!
You can't have Brexit referendum after already exiting. At best he can have Brentrance referendum, which is a bit moot point. Shouldn't it be EU having a referendum whether they want the Brits back? Then again, it's not without a precedent... Texas has done it before around 1860, although that wasn't recognised by the US, if memory serves right...- Best hobbies for retirees

Of course you're aware that rental for less than 30 days of property without hotel license is illegal in Thailand?
