Except for visas, reporting, cash in thai bank, visa runs, tourist visas, etc... depending on how/why he chooses to come in with the EU passport.

I mean the fella has a Thai Passport. He's Thai. Makes no sense to come in on another passport.

It makes sense if he doesn't want to be drafted into the Thai Army. If he comes in on EU passport (since he is only staying 3 weeks ) he definately won't have any problems.

  2. Govt grants Thai citizenship to stateless scholarship students

BANGKOK, 14 March 2016 (NNT) - The Ministry of Interior has instructed local offices to review student rosters of educational institutions to establish the number of stateless students and determine who may be eligible for Thai citizenship.

Permanent Secretary for Interior Krissada Boonrach revealed that the ministry has initiated a project to provide stateless individuals with Thai citizenship to address the issue of statelessness among students. He said the project also serves to tackle the problem of human trafficking.

According to an ongoing investigation that began in January of last year, the number of stateless students stands at more than 69,600. Of this figure, more than 45,200 have been evaluated and almost 19,800 were determined to be eligible for Thai citizenship. Those who qualify have been informed to report to their local registration office.

So far, more than 8,700 stateless individuals have requested Thai nationality, of which more than 5,500 have been provided with citizenship.

Mr. Krissada said relevant officials have been assigned to implement and closely monitor the program, while coordinating with local school administrators to raise awareness.

In Boston MA USA there are a couple areas South Boston/Dorchester that used to put out chairs/trash cans to hold parking spaces after a snowstorm. Mayor passed a law saying illegal and barriers would be removed. YEH--- after all the cars with smashed widows and scratches they decided not to inforce it and basicaally if you dug out a spot its yours.

So does this apply if a father, like you and me, in this situation leaves the girlfriend and baby he is not legally required to pay child support?

Before anyone gets upset about the question, thats all it is a question for interest sake.

Get your child an Aus passport and citizenship  has been shown in other posts how to do. If you wife is "stateless" meaning she does't have a Cambodian/Burma birth certificate  your son would also be stateless which will cause him serious problems as an adult. At least with Aus citizenship thru you he will have a passport and can leave Thailand and maybe find work in another country ect when he grows up.

So my first child born in Malta to UK Father, lybian mother. Maltese birth certificate. now UK and Lybian Passports. Now I understand from authorities in UK she is also entitled to a Maltese passport. I've heard of dual nationally but never triple. She is going to apply and see what happens.

This could easily happen here UK father Cambodian mother Thai birth certificate ? ?

No it cannot happen here. In Thailand one of the parents must be Thai for child to be a Thai citizen if born here or in another country. In US makes no difference what nationality of parents if born in US they are a US citizen as well as nationality of their parent. Japan has same law as Thailand if parents are not Japanese a child born in Japan  is not a Japanese citizen.

If his father was Japanese then he would have right by decent but his father was Thai.  If say a Brit or American couple were here working /living and had a child the child would not be Thai because he was born here. After becoming an adult he could apply for citizenship or permanent residence but would have to go thru all the requirements we do to become a citzen.

Yes you can get a new visa in Vientiane. I would be surprised if your office will process the extension late, so you would be best advised to also make plans to head to Vientiane on the assumption that they will say no.

Don't be surprised, I overstayed my extension to stay  (retirement) by 8 days last year. Ubon Joe said go to immigration and see what happens. I went to CW , dressed well and with my wife. Gave the officer the paperwork she says "your on overstay 8 days that will be an additional 4,000 baht" Took the paperwork , I paid the money and was in an out of there in less thatn 1 1/2 hours.

You do realise that some persons in the US or other countries with good economies have rental properties and can live well here on just the money from rents. I have a former co-worker/friend who is still working ( 2 more years ) but could easily retire here now without even touching his pension just living on the rents. He could also sell one of his houses and live for like 10 years or more on just that money. The blue dawg corporate Democrat "elite" and the DNC brought this disaster on the US and the world. The fascist is a charlatan and a con man and he conned many people. Not me and no I didn't vote for the Clintons either.

SUPREME COURT: STATES CANNOT PREVENT ILLEGAL ALIENS FROM VOTING IN U.S. ELECTIONS

    17.4k

    3

States have the right to determine who can vote in federal or local elections.

The Supreme Court is in clear violation of the Constitution here.

We are living in a lawless country folks!

In a stunning ruling, the Supreme Court of the United States struck down an Arizona law requiring voters to present citizenship proof to register in state and federal elections.

The law clears the way to illegal alien undocumented immigrants voting in national elections without substantive means of preventing it for many states. The highest court in the land ruled 7-2 that federal law “precludes Arizona from requiring a federal form applicant to submit information beyond that required by the form itself,” as Justice Scalia wrote. Professor Tom Caso of the Chapman University School of Law in California told the Associated Press that the decision “opened the door” to noncitizen voting.

“The court’s decision ignores the clear dictates of the Constitution in favor of bureaucratic red tape,” Caso said. Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito dissented from the court’s ruling.

The Constitution “authorizes states to determine the qualifications of voters in federal elections, which necessarily includes the related power to determine whether those qualifications are satisfied,” Thomas wrote in his dissent.

It will be interesting to see how the Democrats who argue that requiring proof of citizenship is a needless burden on their “vulnerable” constituents will be able to maintain that mendacious line when Obamacare documentationrequirements are added to IRS reporting next year. Is that not a burden on “vulnerable” constituencies?

The majority of the electorate did not vote for Trump. In fact almost 75% of eligible voters did not vote for Trump. Of those that did vote, about 1,800,000 more votes for Clinton have been counted so far, with more mail in ballots and provisional ballots still being counted. He did not receive a 'mandate' from the voters. In fact, he did not even have a plurality, much less a majority. He is only the 'winner' due to the form of voting that exists in the USA. The Electoral College meets on December 19 to cast their ballots. Still time for an upset as some US states require the Electoral College members to vote for their states winner, while some certainly do not. While it's possible that an upset may still occur to benefit Clinton, it's highly unlikely. You think the Democrats are 'sore losers'? If that turnabout were to occur, you'd see real violence from Trump supporters if enough of the Electoral College voters were to alter their votes based on the information that the poplular vote went to Clinton and not to Trump. If allowed to vote freely the results could be reversed.

California has a population of 38 million people , aproximately 38 percent Hispanic (plus loads of illegal immigrants) Trump won more states than lying Hillary and the electorial college is based on how many states are won to determine the winner. We are not going to award the victory to Hillary because one state California has more population than any other state in the country ,even Texas has only 28 million people. If a candidate barely won ALL the other states California could force a win by popular vote since they have the most population. Thats not going to happen

The losers should sit back shut up and see how things run for 6 months to a year if the country is doing badly then immpeach him . Oh by the way up untill California votes were counted Trump was leading the popular votes as well as electorial.

4 other US Presidents lost the popular vote but won by electorial college counts including George Bush.

I am wondering what Americans abroad are doing now when meeting new non-Americans who are curious about what happened to the USA. Are you expressing your affiliation or resistance to trump or just letting them assume all Americans are acting like this is a normal thing, to have a nasty mouthed bombastic reality t.v. show demagogue with no experience gain the most power on earth.

I'm posting this sincere question here in a topic about the U.S. embassy intentionally, because like it or not, accept the role or not, every single American abroad is in some small way an AMBASSADOR to our already great and now deeply troubled/divided nation.

Our EMBASSY of course is the official office of our official ambassador. But again, when we're abroad we all represent our country to the world.

I can inform you that I am a registered Democrat  and voted for Trump along with a number of my cousins/friends in the US. I do not trust Hillary anyone could have made a mistake using an unsecured server however trying to destroy the e mails after being ordered to hand them over and her response to Bengazi turned me from her. Most of his talk is rehtoric saying what he says to get votes. He's not going to build an actual wall but will tighen up seurity on the border. Why should there be a problem with that if you cross illegaly into Thailand you will visit the detention center be fined and deported.  As far as Obama care he is not going to throw 20 million people off of insurance rolls what he will do is tweak it as many have said it needs to be done. He's lowering the tax rate for low income workers---how is that a bad thing? JUst wait and see what he accompliseds in his 1st 100 days if things are bad can always impeach him like Richard Nixon was. As far as the popular vote Trump was leading there as well untill California voted which may put him behind her  BUT California has 38 million people 38 %  are Hispanic

Like it. But stupid is as stupid does, a Thai guy in the prime of life driving a Mercedes trumps a Farang pensioner every time. Had a similar incident, wound down the window, lit a cigarette, and tried to look cool, whilst my Thai wife/ girlfriend sorted it out. She's as hard as a brick shithouse, but turned on the charm. It takes something serious to get me going cos I know there are only three outcomes - I end up dead, in hospital, or in jail. And for all those hard guys out there - there's a good chance a lo-so is gonna pull a knife, and a hi-so is gonna pull a gun - you try your boxing skills against that.

    Guys. stop victim blaming.

Guy gets out of car so that somehow takes some of the blame away from the one who punched him? Really? You simply don't go around punching people. It's that simple. If someone calls you a name then ignore it.

Sure, I wouldn't advise anyone to get out of the car. Let the old guy get out, shout and moan while you ignore him. That's how you deal with it and make him look like an idiot at the same time. As soon as you raise a hand, you're in the wrong. Simple.

In the US if you leave your vehicle or are on a street and start yelling threating someone you could be charged with verbal assault. If he old git who thought he was still 30 came up to the other guys window that was a stupid move. No one knows if he spit at the guy pounded on his widow or made threats if he did that to me sorry he would be eating concrete as well.

    Assault

At Common Law, an intentional act by one person that creates an apprehension in another of an imminent harmful oroffensive contact.

An assault is carried out by a threat of bodily harm coupled with an apparent, present ability to cause the harm. It is both acrime and a tort and, therefore, may result in either criminal or civil liability. Generally, the common law definition is thesame in criminal and Tort Law. There is, however, an additional Criminal Law category of assault consisting of anattempted but unsuccessful Battery.

Statutory definitions of assault in the various jurisdictions throughout the United States are not substantially different fromthe common-law definition.

I note from the English OP that there does not appear to be any attempt to contact Mum, who is Thai (and assumed either is herself or has family close by). So why dad and not mum?  Would he be looking for dad if Dad had a Thai name and passport? One has to really wonder about the motivation behind this.

This all sounds like a revenue gathering scheme to me, for good reasons or bad. Perhaps Tony prefers the anonymity that his son is giving mum..

Seems to me its time for Mr. Tollet to man up. Doesn't make any difference what his mother was like its not his kids fault. I had a Bxxx of a first wife but always kept in touch with my daughter took care of her financialy and put her thru University. Don't know what the UK  post offices pay  (I'll try to find out ) but  100,000 baht   say $3,000 USD  would be for a part time worker at a PO in USA. I retired from  the PO in Boston  Mass  USA and my brother and other friends who are still working there  pull in $60,000  + USD a year and some  $90  to  $100,000 a year with overtime working 6 days a week  10--12 hrs a day. Mailhandlers can work 7 days a week because their contract is different than clerks. A Federal workers we all get the same pay whether you work in NYC or Killeen , Texas or Kentucky .

    Tony...

This last week you may have noticed that you’ve been getting emails from me instead of Clark.

And I’ve put this off, because it has been extremely difficult for me to process the news, but I know that it’s time for me to let you know...

It deeply saddens me to inform you that our SPS trainer, Clark Shao passed away last week from a motorcycle accident while vacationing in Thailand.

Clark was a phenomenal trainer, nutrition and fat loss expert, as well as very good friend.

You can watch the memorial video that our team made right here:

Watch Now: In Loving Memory Of Clark Shao

I had the privilege of knowing Clark for the past 15 years, along with working with him here at Six Pack Shortcuts. He was an amazing person with a genuine soul.

During our time filming Six Pack Shortcuts 2 we got really close. He truly did inspire me to live life to the fullest and showed me how to never waste time from enjoying life, especially when it came to working out.

He also encouraged me to never limit myself on trying all different types of foods. In one of his last posts on Facebook, he was eating crickets and worms! Gah, I miss him...

But the point being, he really changed the way I view my own health and fitness. Every day that I've entered the gym since his passing, I feel his spirit pulsating through each rep that I do.

I truly admired him as a person. He was like a big kid who just loved life and knew how to enjoy every bit of it.

And I know that he influenced and impacted the lives of so many people, in a such a positive way.

Clark’s last workout video on the Six Pack Shortcuts channel can be watched here:

Quick Hangover Cure - Hotel Room Workout

I hope to only continue his legacy by bringing you great content and advice to keep you motivated and help you achieve your fitness goals. He lived for changing the lives of guys like you, and I want to help you reach your goals in any way that I can.

“You will be forever missed, You will be forever remembered. You will always be in our hearts and never forgotten.”

My heart and prayers goes out to Clark’s family and his girlfriend Melisa.

We will miss you, brother. RIP.

Yes he has been to Thailand many times. Noticed him almost 20 years ago in Pattaya Walking street when he exited the restaurant ( now closed I think)  next to Lucky Star bar with his body guards.

I didn't hear any girls screaming or noticed any fans lining up for a signature though, and wonder why such a tough guy needs bodyguards.

The reason for body guards is because there is always some tuff guy ( especially when drunk) who thinks he is invincible and can take the martial arts star out.  Mr. Seagal could easily demolish them but doesn't need to respond to every drunk who comes his way especially if the altercation end in him seriously hurting someone and then he gets sued.

  18. 1.   He's a Deputy Sheriff in Hudspeth County, Texas

    2. He was a reserve police officer in  Louisiana

    3. Mr Seagal was raised in Japan where he studied Akido and other martial arts and was once married to a Japanese lady. He ran a dojo in Tokyo and do you think Japanese would go to a Gaijin to learn Akido if he wasn't good?

4, Richard Gere , Keanu Reeves and Steven Seagal are all practising Budists who are often seen in Asian clothing and wearing an amulet.

    5.  http://www.nationmultimedia.com/news/politics/aec/30284534   He didn;t just come over to promote his movie. Clik on URL  He was already over here in April saying he would make 2 movies over here in Thailand and wanted to produce more  foreign films shot in Thailand that could promote the country’s image and boost its film industry, economy and tourism,

    6. He has been to Thailand many times (for over 30 years ) and has filmed here before:

It has been mentioned as happening here by TV posters many times and my own lawyer pulled me aside from my wife and mentioned "you can get a lease or usfruct but if you build on her or family land if things go south they will find a way to drive you off it". Had me write the deal as a loan to my wife that had to be repaid. If she doesn't have proof she paid me back then landcourt will force her to sell to repay the loan, That way I may not have the house to ive in but she will have nothing. As long as everything is ok I never ask for repayment and in my will she gets the property.

It isn't , he is a well known trainer as anyone who has signed up for "6 pack abs" or "6 pack shortcuts" from you tube would know. He worked with Mike Chang . I have seen them both on Youtube and subscribed to the site and course. They have already raised $80,000 usd   in only 2 days from over 891 people.  I have always taken out travel insurance any time I fly, some think there not doing anything dangerous so why take it. Bad mistake can even come down with some disease let alone an accident.   Since they won't release the body its the hospital that wants to get paid.  Info on the deceased  http://mikechang.ca/clark-shao-bio/  So its not a scam as tv posters have implied he was a real person well known in health workout circles not just in Houston but around the country.
