Six in 10 Americans don't want Trump to be president again: 2024 poll
Eric Loh replied to onthedarkside's topic in World News
Don has gift wrapped the security of South Korea to Kim with his intention of withdrawing US troops and stopping the annual war games. The relationship between South Korea and US was fragile and weak which played into the hands of Kim. There will be no peace in the Korean peninsula as long as there is no peace treaty. -
Can Thailand’s political parties take us out of the middle-income trap?
Eric Loh replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Will need a visionary leader, political stability and investment in human capital. All 3 conditions are needed if Thailand wish to escape the middle income trap. -
If Jack Smith is successful and implicit her role in the Jan 6 insurrection, she can be banned for the next re-election. Georgia voters had enough of her and ask the court to determine whether she can be banned under the 14th Amendment. A federal judge had indicated that she likely allow the election challenge.

Dems filter out garbage like MTG. She simply don’t have the qualifications to be a Democrat. Meanwhile Republican Party will always have room for incompetent nutjobs like Greene, Santos and Trump. The party is gutless to get rid of the crazies who now control the party. The old GOP party of Reagan is dead and likely will not recover.

What to make of Kim Jong Un and North Korea's barrage of weapon tests
Eric Loh replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Meeting ended with the usual routine run of the mill joint statement about follow-up negotiation. That's it. No peace terms and neither was Trump involved in follow-up talks. Really a much published meeting that ended with a whimper. -

What peace terms were offered by Trump? The only offer was to take Kim home on Air Force One. -

Twice meeting were held between 2018-2019 when Trump had warm loving rekationship with Kim and twice broke down. Meeting was over in a day. Trump was seeking publicity not peace. He did nothing to progress any peace with North Korea. -

Interesting comment that the protest in 2014 was not a red and yellow clash. I tend to agree with you that the initial protest against Yinglucks amnesty was a Bangkok middle class spontaneous 'demonstration that drew hundreds of thousands of ordinary people into the streets. In fact, the red shirts were also against the amnesty due to the inclusion of murder charges related to the 2010 military crackdown in which 91 were killed. Protesters were ordinary Bangkokians and there were little signs of yellow shirts among the crowd. Soon after the amnesty bill was rejected by the Senate, the ordinary Bangkokians dispersed and the yellow shirts lead by the PDRC continued with more violent protests. Red shirts soon appeared with sporadic violence, shootings and bomb attempts. The protest by then has been hijacked by the PDRC for a purposeful agenda of toppling Yingluck's government. -

Not exactly. Most of the protesters left the demonstration after Yingluck withdrew the amnesty. The paid protesters mainly from the South continued with the demonstration and intensified the protests. They have an agenda that is what cost Yingkuck her premiership. -
He will be indicted this week. Job done. Next multiple indictments in Fulton County and the crem dela crem will be the smackdown criminal indictments by Jack Smith. Trump ambition will be finito by then and the country sigh in relief. USA is a great country and doesn't need to stain their image with a Holmesian bad man and an even worst President.

Every time you have a post coup government, it’s a mini Zi. Even if you don’t read the Thailand constitution , no reason to post such asinine nonsense. -
To Maga folks that’s entertainment like a scene from Untouchable. To decent people, that is gross and uncouth behavior of any ordinary people and he was once a US President. That is as vulgar as it can get. Feel sorry for you.
