  1. Yet you live there for 5 full years. Was that in the 80s.
  2. Huawei patents are licensed by global companies all over the world; earning them over a billion USD. Their patents and research is the biggest contributor to setting 5G standards. All BS to your prejudice mind.
  3. My advise is don't rely on this thread to get you the fact on Sinopharm as it is a China's vaccine.
  4. Your allegation doesn’t pass the smell test. China filed more patents than any countries including USA.
  5. Sinovac Biotech has institutional ownership and traded in Nasdaq. I Globe. Capital is the largest shareholder and is a investment company based in USA. Facts get out of the window when anything China related is mentioned.
  6. The same reason Pfizer and Moderna needed booster after 8 months. Vaccines effectiveness waned and Delta is 1,000 times more transmissible. Thought this a common knowledge to most.
  7. Start with no more coup d' etat and maintain political stability; rest will fall in place especially FDI.
  8. As much as I hate this government and Prayut, I feel that it’s the wrong time to change him and his ministers at this pivotal junction. Better to have continuity on the vaccination program and the drive to bring down cases. Economic relief package in his plans need to continue. A new PM and government will waste more time to come out with their plans. Anyway Prayut days are numbered and will not survive the next election.
  9. I don't see why it's racist too. Remember the phrase "Ugly American" which still is today. Stand for Americans who wear tube tops to the Vatican or shout for Big Macs in Beijing. No way I trying to be racist.
  10. South Korea used to be called the country of coups from the 60s-80s and their history was marked by alternating periods of democratic and post coups autocratic military rule just like Thailand. Democracy enjoyed by South Korea today came about from student and civic movements that brought enormous changes to the constitution and political system. THailand may seem like a lost cause but I believed that in everything it has its threshold and limit. Pressure must be maintained by the youth and civil groups to break this cycle of coups.
  11. Not BS but their constitutional rights to protests. What comes next worry me too. Hope a general election can be held in the near future to elect the government. Prayut's government is faux.
  12. Th rumour ablazed that he may lose the confidence vote this Saturday when his own party House representatives will turn against him. The party coup is engineered by some of his closest military friends as rumoured. If true he will have to resigned. Pray that this will happen but I dread who will replace him. He also losing hard liner royalist yellow shirt supporters like Tanat Thanankitamnuay or popularly known as Hi-so Look Nat. Famous for driving his Porsche into a red-shirt protesters in 2010 and joined the street rallies held by the PDRC. He is now a regular feature of anti-Prayut protests. His wealthy Thai royalists family support his street protests.
  13. As the situation improved and more restrictions lifted, there are lessons to be learned from mistakes by countries with spiking cases even with high percentage of vaccinated population. The commonality of highly vaccinated countries like US, Israel, South Korea, Australia and Netherland is that all of these countries abandon basic precaution like masking and totally relaxed the need for social distancing. The new normal even with 80% vaccination is that basic precautions will still have to be maintained and hope the virus will run itself out and nullified. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-57796133
  14. Most Thais do exercise the necessary precautions to limit their exposure to be infected with restriction partially lifted. Mask, social distancing and the desire to be vaccinated can be expected of Thais. We don’t have much of the western values for individual freedom but rather a sense of communal well being.
  15. Cognitive intelligence is the ability of human brain to digest information and form intelligence and meaningful rebuttal. Anutin and the corrupt government are total craps and vaccines are not.
  16. The long term credit rating for Thailand remain at BBB+. Stable outlook affirmed.
  17. My view is that she is more in danger out in the open and can be dissappeared without a trace or known to anyone. She better off in custody or protection from the police which will be responsible for her safety. Should any untold accident happened to her, there is accountability. The absence of her whereabout played into the hands of those who don't want her to be a witness.
  18. From Dailymail.UK with many incriminating photos. Layers of plastic bags that even covers the contours of his face. Those disgusting corrupted beasts.
  19. More importantly is the sound reasoning by the Health Minister to include Sinovac and Sinopharm. What is important now is the difference between those who are vaccinated and not vaccinated and less so between different vaccines.” He noted that the WHO is a "widely accepted" reference organisation. "It sets a 50 per cent vaccine effectiveness threshold for listing in the emergency use list. So there is some assurance of a minimum and verified standard," he said.
  20. Fair that we don’t believe in the daily reported numbers. To me the trend line, death and vaccination are the numbers that I pay much attention besides SET and exchange rate. If they moving in the right direction, I tend to think that the situation is making progress. We all need a break.
  21. Good vaccines is oxymoron and a myth. All vaccines are good and protect you from serious illness and death.
  22. Just where is the victim’s girlfriend who is a key witness to the murder. I see no attempt by the police to find and protect her. I really fear for her life.
  23. Cases of hospitalisation and deaths after fully vaccinated with Pfizer reported in New Zealand and Singapore. What's your point.
  24. Kind of fit the description of most countries. In any case, those who visit Thailand don't really bother with the political system. They just want to have fun and a good tan.
