The new voters are leaning heavily towards Harris and will have an impact on the election outcome. The Havard Youth Poll showed Harris leading Trump 64 percent to 32 percent among likely young new voters. According to the Harvard Kennedy School, there is a widening gap in enthusiasm, with 74% young Democrats saying they will definetely vote in Nov compared with 60% of young Republicans.

Before some of you Maga folks gets euphoric over the surge of Republican voter registration, it will not meant that the election is skewing towards Trump. The independent non partisan voters always have the final say. They are a big bloc of 26-30% share of the electorates and have voted for the Dems in 2018 mid-term and 2020. Republicans just can't close the deal with independent voters especially with Trump. There is also a big chunk of new young voters that are less Republocans and hateful of Trump. Just tone down your euphoria Maga.

Kim rattle his sabres occasionally and play the threat card for his domestic agenda and to divert the people's attention away from their economic woes. North Korea suffered from climate change that has caused extensive flooding and above average temperatures that has devasted their agricultural production. Their refusal to accept any outside help further compound the suffering of his people. The regime has to justify spending almost third of their GDP for defense while the suffering of its citizens continue. Their propaganda filled 90% of airtime and consistently alleged threats to brainwash the people to get them behind the regime.

Honeymoon Period Over for Kamala Harris Polls Show Tight Race
Eric Loh replied to Social Media's topic in World News
What is not true is there was no 100,000. Will give Trump the benefit of full capacity in the venue and it's still 15,000 and not 100,000. He lied again bigly. -

He said 100,000 while the venue capacity is 15,000 and report states possibly about 5,000. That’s serious lying by any measures. How can such flawed person can possibly be a presidential candidate is beyond belief. -

The venue capacity can only hold 15k. You again fell for another Trump’s lies. So sad. -

If you ignore countless lies, don’t accept fact and no critical thinking, it’s a cult. -

Most will accept that the election result and move on. Can the same be said of the AN Maga folks. Their cult leader has repeatedly said he will accept the election result only if he win. Bet they will continue to whine of stolen results just like their dear leader. -
Could an October Surprise Shift the Deadlocked Trump-Harris Race?
Eric Loh replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Seem the October surprise is from God's wrath. The hurricanes in NC, Georgia and Florida with widespread destruction in rural red areas will upend Republican election plan to canvass for votes and the ability and incentive for the weary and exhausted residents to vote. It also bring home to many that climate change is real and exposed Trump as the pathological liar. -
IMO Predictit and Kalshi are more representative of the election landscape than Polymarket as they have betting limits. The mysterious bettor who punt over $4 million for Trump with Polymarket has skewed the betting odds. Trump's allies have deep pockets and will do desperate things to get him across the finish line. The momentum is with Harris while Trump is struggling as his lies get more outrageous and more people are noticing.

Trump's Claim of Gaza Visit Draws Scrutiny Amid Factual Discrepancies
Eric Loh replied to Social Media's topic in World News
He probably don't know where Gaza. His geography is at best elementary. Among his geography gaffes, he mistaken Nepal and Bhutan as parts of India or praising Nambia for their health care system when there are no country call Nambia. Nearer home, he flub Sioux City for Sioux Falls and mistakenly congratulate Kansas City on its Super Bowl win. The man is a goofball. -
Forbes reported that one anonymous user by the name of "Fredi9999"upped his bets on a Trump win to over $4 million. Polymarkets does not limit individual bettors like their nearest competitors like Predictlt ($850 limit) or Kalshi. So this big swing could be due to this one individual or a handful of big ticket bettors rather than a material shift in the election landscape. https://www.forbes.com/sites/dereksaul/2024/10/07/trumps-election-odds-spike-on-polymarket-as-musk-touts-election-betting-site/

Absolutely right on this. Biden's tariffs are more selective and targetted while Trump's tariffs are on everything. He is now proposing a 60% tariff on goods from China and a 20% tariff on every imports. For Trump, tariffs are solution to almost any problem. His explanation on tariffs are laughable.

Seriously I got rid of the pigeon nestling on my balcony with colourful windmill toy. I don't stay often in the condo and the pigeon decided to made a nest behind the air compressors and even laid eggs. Tried the scarecrow and fluttering plastic bags. Didn't work. Tied few colourful windmills and it has been a month, the pigeons didn;t return. Keeping my fingers crossed that this will work.
