    your point?

You wrote, "Top 100 "emerging economies" globally you won't find them in the top 300."

MAHIDOL has a very good medical school. If you don't know you shouldn't post.

please contact the people who manage the list of the world ranking top universities (see link I inserted in previous post). I did not give any personal comment nor opinion.

  3. Many motorcycle drivers have no idea of the danger. Indeed no helmet, no insurance, no drivers license and no respect. I can post daily about reckless driving. Just yesterday I saw a guy driving a motorcycle, kid between him and his wife. Same time smoking a cigarette! Many times I also see them driving with one hand while making a phone call, but if we hit them...ooh boy all fingers point at you!

  4. In the first place I try to avoid taking a taxi. I really prefer BTS, MRT etc..although most of the time taxis are faster. I have problems with their attitude and driving style. When I do take a taxi I will tip according to my evaluation, if positive I can tip up to 50%. Once I made a remark to a grumpy driver and he told me I should go back to my home country, I replied if all Thais would be like him I surely would :)

After 2 weeks screen went blank took 2 months to repair, when returned they put normal screen iso touch screen. Another 1 month it was returned. After that screen goes black every time it is being charged. Of course I needed to buy another computer, Apple Mac air is such a relieve!

  6. Thailand should be very clear on it's foreign investment policies. BOI promotions are in place and working but the 51/49 rule is killing many oportunities. Some people in this forum refer to Myanmar, Vietnam and Indonesia as the economic havens. Myanmar;much too early. Vietnam? Look at the devaluation of the Dong in recent years and combine this with the administrative nightmare to set up a company there. Agreed, India is even worse. Indonesia, maybe. I continue to bet on Thailand but stability is the key.

  7. I am not going to compare between brands.. I bought an Attrage for the company, It is indeed all very simple and surely not a sports car, but it has all the helpful accessories. It is a very practical car with enough luggage and leg space. I like the simplicity and I have sympathy for the efforts of the 3 cylinder engine with the CVT transmission. I consider it a good deal but its a workhorse without fun. I am truly happy when I get back in my BMW !
