90 Day Reporting - re-entry
That's right. Of course, they have your re-entry on file, from the Airport, so the 90 days runs, in your case, for 90 days from 26th August. Up to to Nov 24th ? It's been like that for years. ATB

Jomtien immigration: retirement extension without 800k (went today) with agent.
IMO it is extremely unwise to be posting about this on what is a public forum.

They don’t make them any tougher than us Brits. Brit walks off a plane crash.
From the DT today :- "A Boeing 787 jet identical to the one that crashed in India made four emergency landings in less than a month earlier this year. Some of the incidents involving the American Airlines plane were linked to issues with its wing flaps".

Is Trump intent on eliminating free speech in America?
Thanks Mike. Good post ! Myself I doubt that Trump is bright or sane enough to have any clear strategy on anything, BUT the effect of his lunatic thrashing around will undoubtedly result in the curtailing of free speech. He is clearly unfit to be POTUS. I hope the amazing USA can eject him and his barmy Pals before too long . . . . . .

Much of this discussion has been asinine. The Guy had a miraculous escape and let's just wish him well and be happy for him, whatever the colour of skin and passport. Seeing the fireball just imagine the agony of watching Families in India, England etc. I guess no-one expected any survivors at all.

Lorry Driver Crashes into Power Pole in Tak Province
Joe you insult the dead driver who cannot defend himself. You then insult Thai drivers generally. You know nothing about the cause of this accident.

Does the world need a pope?
Good luck to Pope Leo but what a lot of hoo-hah ! Of course, its better that the Roman Catholic Church has a leader that is a decent chappie, but what a massive drama is always made of this occasion. Whether Leo can make any difference at all to anything at all, remains to be seen. Listening to Sky News - they just described him as 'one of the most powerful People in the World' - dream on !!!! I'm not a Catholic but I regard the RC Church with ongoing horror after exposures of the historic institutionalised child abuse detailed so clearly in the film 'Spotlight' years ago. Pope Leo will almost certainly disappear into irrelevance now, until he makes a Papal visit somewhere, giving the excuse for more media drama. Yawn.

Karoline Leavitt: The Young Firebrand Behind Trump’s Messaging Revival
I agree with Walker - "Like her boss, she lies as easily as she breathes". She is actually very convincing when she's lying and that's fortunate, because, lying to cover up this shot show, is a very demanding task. Leavitt is great at her job but I wouldn't trust her with an apple.

Joe Biden has reentered the public eye with a pointed rebuke of the Trump administration
Frank - wise up a little. Hearts go out to Rachel Morrin and her Family but, as I understand it, the Morrin case has nothing to do with the 200+ Folks kidnapped by the Trump Admin and sent abroad to imprisonment. If you know otherwise, please post evidence.

Economic News to Make the Trump Haters Scream
hTTps://amac.us/newsline/economy/massive-numbers-trumps-economic-agenda-sparks-7-trillion-in-investment/ Yag - couldn't get into that link so I fiddled with it, unsuccessfully. Let's hope those projections come to pass. Meantime I think figures on the trade deficit, unemployment, vacancies, inflation, dollar value etc. will be regularly available. MMmmmm

Karoline Leavitt: The Young Firebrand Behind Trump’s Messaging Revival
Yes Frank - all the time. Whoever or whatever it is. Of course I can be mistaken but I try hard to check everything. I always have. Always will. Were you inferring I was picking on the lovely Caroline?

Joe Biden has reentered the public eye with a pointed rebuke of the Trump administration
Yes I'm critical of MAGA and the blind support Posters here show to matters Trump. But mine is an observed position, not tribal - I speak as I find. Snatching 200+ people off the streets and sending them to a prison abroad is pretty horrendous in anyone's book. Sorry if that's 'derogatory'.

Joe Biden has reentered the public eye with a pointed rebuke of the Trump administration
Maybe Yag, you don't know much about US Law. As I understand it, SCOTUS supported the original decision of illegality to the tune of 9-0. We'll see.

Joe Biden has reentered the public eye with a pointed rebuke of the Trump administration
Hi Frank. Why - well it's called humanity, compassion, respect for old people - the sort of decency strange to MAGA ?

Karoline Leavitt: The Young Firebrand Behind Trump’s Messaging Revival
Yes Jonny - "She's amazing. Beautiful, intelligent, articulate, feisty". And Walker - "she's perfect . . . . . in this cesspool of an Administration". And Eric has it spot on - "She must have crafted her style and substance after the North Korea Central TV anchor Ri Chun Hee who blamed the famine on lack of Kim's teaching." For me - she's the perfect one for Trump - overloaded with 'brass neck' and very impressive, (until you fact check what she actually says). Great presentation, brushing aside the chaos

Joe Biden has reentered the public eye with a pointed rebuke of the Trump administration
As it happens, I agree that Biden would be better to stay out of the Public Eye now and I'm sure we can all be generous and wish him a happy retirement. The usual MAGA nastiness figures in the usual poor replies. You Trumpers should be keeping heads down as that criminal contempt case re. the the El Salvador 200 comes over the horizon. What a shot show this Trump Administration is !

138 Deaths in First Four Days of Songkran’s “Seven Dangerous Days”
The 'Authorities' seem to use national occasions such as Songkran, to push a general message for greater road safety. And why not of course? However, road death statistics historically show that the average daily toll historically is about 38 deaths a day - (80% + of those due to motorbike accidents). 38 daily includes deaths which occur later away from the scene, in hospital etc., (but the lower figures often disclosed at Songkran can include immediate deaths only). Songkran congestion on major routes might actually make the main routes safer, with traffic moving slower? But predominantly, road deaths result from motorbike accidents, wild driving (drink or drug fuelled) together with passenger overloads, phoning while riding , not wearing helmets and so on. Whichever way you look at it, it's an ongoing tragedy and I see very little Policing going on from day to day. Surely, it's motorbike riders particularly that need more Policing to reduce the daily toll. Drive safely all.

Tensions Rise as UK Police Officers Are Taught About ‘White Privilege’ in Equity Training
Photo I ticked the 'confused' tab for you because your post was odd. I hold no brief for Starmer but he was 'Director of Public Prosecutions' before he entered politics. He reached the pinnacle in his legal career and is now PM. I wonder what the pinnacle of your career was ? Merit should be the only criteria . . .

Even the blinkered Trump and MAGA fans must smell a rat now?
Interesting angle, to question Trump's intelligence right now, in view of his daily bozo performances during this second term. Thanks Placeholder for the link, which I made work somewhere else and have copied. It does seem strange that Michael Cohen was instructed to suppress these details years ago. The truth I guess, was unpalatable! "Donald Trump and his representatives threatened the colleges he attended and the College Board that he would sue them if records about his academic performance ever became public, Michael Cohen said Wednesday in testimony to a House of Representatives panel. In explaining why he calls the president a con man, Cohen said, in prepared testimony, “When I say con man, I’m talking about a man who declares himself brilliant but directed me to threaten his high school, his colleges and the College Board to never release his grades or SAT scores. As I mentioned, I’m giving the committee today copies of a letter I sent at Mr. Trump’s direction threatening these schools with civil and criminal actions if Mr. Trump’s grades or SAT scores were ever disclosed without his permission.” https://www.insidehighered.com/sites/default/server_files/media/Trump_0_0.pngTrump attended Fordham University before transferring to the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a bachelor's degree. Cohen released the letter he sent on Trump's behalf to Fordham, which cited the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, which indeed would bar any college from releasing grades without the permission of a student or former student. The letter said that Trump had become aware that journalists were asking for his grades, and so he wanted to reach out. The letter said that Trump would "hold your institution liable to the fullest extent of the law" for any release of his records. The P.S. to the letter changes tone and says, "Mr. Trump truly enjoyed his two years at Fordham and has great respect for the university." A spokesman for Fordham released this statement to Inside Higher Ed: "The university received a call from someone on the Trump campaign as now President Trump was gearing up for his run. We told the caller that Fordham is bound by federal law, and that we could not/would not reveal/share any records (as we would not reveal any student records) with anyone except Mr. Trump himself, or any recipient he designated, in writing. Fordham received a follow-up letter from one of Mr. Trump's attorneys summarizing the call and reminding us that they would take action against the university if we did, in fact, release Mr. Trump's records. Our stance remains the same: we obey federal law and don't release student records to anyone but the student/graduate or anyone that the student designates, in writing." The College Board declined to comment on Cohen's testimony. Penn also declined comment. Cohen's testimony noted that Trump, in 2011, had "strongly criticized President Obama for not releasing his grades" Cohen noted that "Mr. Trump declared, 'Let him show his records' after calling President Obama 'a terrible student.'" Many replying to this and other Trump threads, seem to have been taken over by the cult and also, can no longer see reason. My conclusion. Trump is overloaded with cunning but lacks basic reasoning powers. hTTps://www.insidehighered.com/news/2019/02/28/michael-cohen-testifies-trump-threatened-colleges-over-any-release-his-grades

Tensions Rise as UK Police Officers Are Taught About ‘White Privilege’ in Equity Training
Not an assumption CH - can be observed daily. A personal UK story - my eldest Son left the Royal Marines about 10 years ago and after active service, had ambitions of joining the Police or the Fire Service . I remember asking him how it was going and this was response - "it's very difficult Dad because I'm not black, brown, gay or a woman". That was his experience. IMO many many appointments are made on DEI criteria.

All appointments in all professions should be on MERIT alone. If 'minorities' are under represented, then they have to try harder. Merit the only criteria please . . .

If there was a snap US election tomorrow who would you vote for Trump or a Penguin?
Undoubtedly, I'd vote for the Penguin !!
