  1. I use Bangkok Bank, wife uses Krungthai, you can use almost any Thai bank for the transfer
  2. have a Bangkok Bank account, I get one statement at six months and one at twelve months, that way no waiting for BKK Bank Headquarters one year statement

  6. you forgot to factor in all of the deductions allowed, yes I realize that the tax rate gets higher quicker, but nothing was factored in the post saying you would have to pay $17,000 dollars tax

  13. I have Bangkok Bank for my SS deposit have used them for going on 8 years, was the only option at the time, it is sent through NY by SS as an ACH transfer, wife uses Krung Thai bank, her SS deposit is by IDD transfer, not much difference in the fees, all depends on how much you receive.

  19. no such thing as a 12 month extension of a visa exempt entry, have to get the 90 day visa and then get that extended for one year
