  2. you forgot to factor in all of the deductions allowed, yes I realize that the tax rate gets higher quicker, but nothing was factored in the post saying you would have to pay $17,000 dollars tax
  3. legally unless her name is on the account she cannot access the money until it goes through probate, she better take it out real fast.

  8. I have Bangkok Bank for my SS deposit have used them for going on 8 years, was the only option at the time, it is sent through NY by SS as an ACH transfer, wife uses Krung Thai bank, her SS deposit is by IDD transfer, not much difference in the fees, all depends on how much you receive.

  10. you can have it direct deposited to almost all Thai banks, and you can have a debit card with the account

  13. no such thing as a 12 month extension of a visa exempt entry, have to get the 90 day visa and then get that extended for one year
  14. I can go to Cambodia by land in about an hour and a half at most, takes longer to go to the airport
