"The problem of people of color breaking the law in Thailand".
Someone needs to tell that TV station that most of the world also includes Asians as "people of color"
I am "white" although I am not white.... more of a pinkish color tending towards brown from years of living here.
Everyone is a "person of color". We are not ghost shrimp
I suppose I should be surprised at the viscous racism I've seen in many posts, but given current climate, I'm not
Who is talking about people of color ?? Nothing to with racism. This subjekt is illegal Africans in Thailand !!

Africans will not be stopped from coming to thailand, this is just more racist "black bashing" by thai media/police.
Africa and thailand are linked much more than farang countries due to trade deals (ex. oil/rice/textiles/seafood). This leads to many visa loopholes.
Obviously there are also huge black market links as well, thailand being a big producer and africans the best smugglers .
African girls also popular in bkk amongst whites/arabs so they will keep smuggling humans as well lol.
So You mean Africans should be allowed to stay in Thailand illegal ?!?

Why should I have to bring a towel ( and the hotel may object if I take theirs ) when I never used to have to? The old style did the job, was more suitable for the Thai style of beach going, and was at a reasonable price. An increase of over 100% is not justifiable.
One poster actually said we could take a big towel, meaning I suppose a beach towel, so they expect us to go and buy a beach towel just to pay more on a beach where there aren't enough umbrellas to keep the sun off.
The thing about this thread that struck me, is that most of the posters supporting the new chairs are newbies, with few posts, and some apparently don't even live in Pattaya. When I see long established and well known posters supporting them, I'll accept it's the tourists fault, and not that the chairs were a mistake.
I only come to Pattaya since 2010, but still thinks sunbeds and umbrellas are the same and as good as it can be. Cost nothing to bring Your own beach towel. I love Thailand and don't complain like so many here on TV. Be happy or stay away !!!

A load of nonsense... We have these sunbeds and parasols on my beach. The best You can have.
" And the cushions actually retain heat making a beach lie down something akin to a wartime torture."
Yes, of course, you bring a big towel to put on your sunbed. What's the problem.
Given the parasols, it is the same size as always. Just get some more...

Here is some information a majority seems to be unaware of according to the abusive comments in this thread >>> https://www.schengenvisainfo.com/schengen-visa-application-requirements/
Now, can we call the Shengen countries the same names?
Really, people should be ashamed of oneself for stooping to such levels...
You are so right !!!

We are talking tourists here right. So what is the big deal if a tourist gets killed? Tourists die everyday in Pattaya one or two more makes no difference.
You will be the next one in Pattaya or somewhere else and still make no difference....

Amazing Thailand never ending to surprise in a chocking and horrible way - just when you believe you have heard it all then it comes something worse - a system without any limits create a country without a decent human future....
Sorry to say, but counts for most countries in the world. Not just Thailand......

What an awful society it really is. It's quite sad as you come to realize just how disgusting Thailand is, my love for the place dies every day and it saddens me to say this.
You make the same mistake as many others who comments on Thaivisa: Generalizing. You say Thailand as a whole group instead of clarifying which groups you think are disgusting ?!? It is not fair to the general population.... whom most of us love !

Idiotic, it's bad enough now with the Chinese at DM, imagine the 'queues' for insurance machines, folks with no baht, arguing, kids crying, machines breaking down, laughable.
'The requirement is seen as helping to reduce the burden on Thai hospitals who are being forced to treat an increasing number of insured foreigners.'
No problem then according to the article if foreigners are insured why is it costing Hospitals?
Read: Uninsured foreigners !!

please don't feel offended, since when did police keep Pattaya streets safe from gang lords?
Are there really laws in Thailand? farangs in thailand continue to dream about laws in Thailand. Wise men spend a few days in thailand , fools stay longer, and the most foolish marry the women.
A very foolish comment ! Generalization is bad style...

So according to you nobody should post an opinion that you don't approve of? In an opinion and comment section? Legitimate criticism is not allowed? And did these people say they don't like Thailand, or are they simply pointing to the facts, failures, and broken promises which anyone who looks can see? Are you making the rules here? Is this your website? If you don't like these comments as a whole just go somewhere else and read happy thoughts which never criticize
O.M.G. You are really the one there is moaning. Piece be with You and all the moaners !!

A rich business man once said in Denmark:
You cannot buy love, but you can buy something that looks like it.
That's how it works in Thailand too.
Take it or leave it.
Another Pattaya own goal as tourists falling out of the new beach chairs

As You never sit on a beach, ever, You are not really the person to comment on the subject. Your concern about "nasty plastic shard up the jacksy" is fortunately wrong. Said by a person whom for many years has been using those plastic sun benchses![:sleepy: :sleepy:](//forum.thaivisa.com/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png)
