Just watched 'Yesterday',
a failed musician get's knocked out and wakes up in an alternate Universe where the Beatles never existed, then goes on to write all their songs from memory. It was very good.

I recently enjoyed
Carnival Row, alternate earth Victorian London with fairies and other monsters, plenty of gore, tits, bums and violence.
Complete season released, Orlando Bloom is the star.

Hmm, so far no one has said when making an online purchase - using the internet - that they have had any problems over the past week.
Used my BKB VISA debit card to buy return AirAsia tickets (Skyscanner/Trip.com) to Vietnam last week.
Went straight through, bank statement says payment via EDC.
Booked a room via Booking.com using the same card, also went straight through.

Actually I was not offered the fast version today.
You have to ask, they no longer offer.
My pal did it last week, he paid the 1,000bht.
He was annoyed by the TM30, his guesthouse did the reporting, gave him a copy for immigration, then he had to queue to exchange his copy for a stamped immigration copy.

I booked a little trip to Hanoi (from Chiang Mai) next month, 2,900bht return on AirAsia, VISA waiver on entry, booked a room in the Old City for 400bht/night including breakfast. Never been to Hanoi before, looking forward to it. Considered a 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen and balcony for 600bht/night, but didn't really need the space, I might try a couple of nights there.
I've been to Saigon several times, and Da Nang once earlier this year, enjoyed all my trips there.
Prices for everything are very cheap, will definitely be visiting 'Beer street'.

So are the Government taking a loss on every bag, how are they
able to sell it 10-15 THB a Kg. below market price.maybe not the
same quality.
Faraday, its sticky rice,
regards worgeordie
Price at the farms was 10Bht/Kg, they're claiming the drought doubled the price, so that would be 20Bht/Kg.
So @35Bht there's still a profit margin of 75%, if less then the 150% markup they really wanted.

But, having said that, there are alot of insane, extreme, hateful and shameful white people out there.
There are plenty of posters on this forum that fit that description.
I've put most of them on ignore, but new incarnations of them keep popping up..
Having thought about what she said for a few moments, gotta say I also avoid nearly all contact with white folks.
Maybe shes perfectly sane and I should agree with her sentiments.

How does my lekky meter know if the power came from oil, coal, wind or cow's methane?
1.1.1 is for rural properties, the low rates are to help the poor.
I used to live outside Hang Dong in what was classed a rural property, every other month my bill would be free.
Anything in the city, or built recently will be on 1.1.2

Complete BS, perhaps a 3% of them are like that. That is such a old pervert thought, to think all students look for money.
Most want to earn their own and date someone for the sake of dating and having fun, not money.
I never had to pay a single baht to any student girl. They would even drive me home in their car.
Actually, I think most farangs have such bad luck, because they think it is about that. Which is a huge turn down for them. Many of the short-time motels in Chiang Mai seem to be located very close to the assorted universities, I have no idea why.
And many of the ladies are working Thai beer bars in the evenings.

Never get involved in Thai family nonsense.
Let them sort it out themselves.

are they self-supporting? That is if I support them from the corners only?
My one is 2m x 1m, with two holes drilled 80cm apart on the longer sides.
Self supporting, I just put a 1m rail bridging the two sets of holes, and screwed them to that.

There's some nasty nasty posters on the forums.
I put them on ignore right away, especially if they quote other nasty posters I've already ignored.

The fact that you take some sort of odd attacking offensive at the fact that I still like my wife after nearly 20 years...
I still loved my Brit wife after 30 years of marriage, problem being she secretly hated me for the last 20 years.
When I retired, she had no further use for me, if I wasn't earning and saving for her 6 days a week, 12 hours or more a day, she didn't want me around.
Hard to keep loving a woman that wants you dead or jailed, and does everything she can to achieve her aim.

I understand emergency departments can assign a nurse to insert a catheter. Still not pleasant. Perhaps BM2 can confirm cost.
It was around 250bht for a nurse to put it in or change it, including the catheter and bag (usually the prettiest and youngest nurse on staff). Always in the emergency department, fair bit of waiting around.

It's just the awkwardness of the catheter no for the next weeks, but I'll get used to it Britman has had his for ages I think...a very brave guy, especially putting it in himself.
It was only for a month, couldn't wee at all, no previous signs.
But the drugs worked well, still have to be careful with alcohol and dehydration, that brings it back.
