You need to be vaccinated second time 14 days before departure. Pcr-test 72 hours before scheduled departure. I have not read of anybody having problems because of a delayed flight.

They need it to be sure. Just read about a family denied boarding because a child not tested. https://www.tatnews.org/2021/10/thailand-reopening-exemption-from-quarantine-test-go/

Thai Airways posts earnings after debt restructuring, assets sale

I think they confuse revenue profit and income. They cannot have profit of 50 billion with monthly revenue of around 1 billion in 9 months. Tg certainly have plenty of cost for employees fuel and aircraft maintenance. -
This change to 30 days only forced me to apply for eVisa which took almost a week to get in this time with very few tourists! Had to upload many documents for visa but only uploaded hotel booking for seven days in Phuket. In the end it forced me to postpone my trip by 5 days because of waiting time for Visa and COE. And they want more tourists? There are only around 200 tourists from Denmark to Thailand a month at the moment so the Embassy should not be overwhelmed.

How can they stop cheaper tourists from going? Are they going to require visas for all and a prove of a certain minimum income to get visa? Thailand hotels and food and ladies are not just going to be more expensive if fewer tourists arrive. And what about work and income for all the bar girls? They provide money to the villages. In my experience the hotels are now easy to get cheaper than before because of the few tourists. But TAT want only rich tourists. so who will stay at all the cheaper hotels.

COVID: Will European tourists return to Southeast Asia?

How do they know how much specific nationalities spend per day? For example if somebody pays a prostitute or for meals or for shopping by thai cash they bought in home country how do they count that? I think spending may be higher than this statistic by Thai ministry -
Domestic tourism probably does not add much to Gdp per capita as it is mostly money that might otherwise be spent other places in Thailand. Like in Bangkok where many of the weekend visitors come from. Foreign tourism on the other hand is equal to export as it adds foreign currency to the Thai economy.

Thailand seeks to slash quarantine period for visitors
martin81 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
When I arrived in start of April the actual quarantine period ( 7 nights ) was only determined when I arrived. It said 10 or 14 days on the Coe but as I was vaccinated ended up with only 7 nights after document check at BKK airport. -
Thailand reopening may be delayed to Nov 1: TAT
martin81 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Well if the country is on list of permitted countries to Phuket Sandbox it should not be a problem(not sure if Greece is on that list). Anyway I don't think you will get a stamp in passport in Greece. Although I am not sure if you are from UK. -

Not true. Have just been on vacation in Greece. For vaccinated no test and mostly open and normal everywhere. Many tourists at the tourist places. -
TAT set to announce re-opening of 7 more provinces
martin81 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
IT WILL NOT help the tourism industry very much if vaccinated people stiil need four expensive PCR tests and risk of two weeks quarantine(if someone with positive test sat near you on flight) and at least some kind of quarantine in most of the opening provinces. Even in Phuket with only 12 hours quarantine there came very few tourists after reopening. Number of tourists in Thailand rose from around 6000 in June to 18000 in July after Phuket reopening. Before Covid there were 3 to 4 million of tourists per month. The 18000 in July is less than 1 percent of that. -
Why would they want you to die unless of course you marry them? If you don't marry the lady she will not inherit anything when you die.
