Prayut stepped down from the army, formed a civilian government (not much to work with) and ran an election that was peaceful and allowed a popular movement to succeed (hopefully). Now compare that with Thailand's neighbours. Cambodia !! Myanma!!!!!!. Laos!!!! As an individual, Khun Prayut seems to me to be a genuine person who can be proud that he has allowed Thailand to take small steps forward in it's politics. It remains to be seen whether the darker forces will allow it to proceed.
