Pita ordered to suspend doing his duties as an MP
But, it is a suspension! the court has not yet made a decision and since they accepted the case for consideration probably they are required to suspend him. But you are right it does not look good..

Pita and his “devil may care” attitude
But enough were prepare to join and make a coalition. And, as leader of the party that won the most votes he is entitled to vie for the PM position if the coalition could make the required number of seats. The ITV and second court cases are an attempt to displace him, before the senators have to declare them selves. If they, as non-elected members prevent the people's choice, they will be condemned. But there are powerful forces involved.

Move Forward Party’s Thai PM Candidate Pita Fails First Round of Voting
You should take a look at the person behind the scene pulling the strings, it was quite obvious when the man in Dubai before the election set the date for his return. Also now you can expect after the dust settles his man sorry, lady, will be able to issue a "get put of jail free" card. What drives politics in Thailand ? its not democracy its $$$$

Pita complains of unfair treatment by the Election Commission
A logical analysis would consider who would be harmed by an EC ruling banning the MFP (Cow Gy) party, and the answer is "peoples democracy" since valid elections are the basis of democracy.

Plan is to rally parliament behind the people’s will to elect Pita Limjaroenrat as Prime Minister
It seems that a BBC reporter here in Thailand is pushing stories that seems to be a familiar line in his support of Taksin and his party

Facial recognition - and other Thai banking fiascos!! - YMMV
I agree totally. SCB easy net on laptop was convenient and safe. Very hard to lose your laptop when it is at home. Also many small businesses in up country villages now in real trouble since the village ATM removed and getting cash means a long trip to the nearest city ATM. Small village shops dont have scanning facilities so only the big businesses benefit, and the Banks reduce their costs with increased profits.

He musts be crazy to do his act in a very up market hotel. Very bad image for them.

Occupation lockdown: Thailand’s Labour Ministry draws the line for foreigners, 27 out, 13 in the conditions
I think you miss the main point, the rules do not allow foreigners to work in areas where there are sufficient Thais able to do that type of work.

Being Single VS Marrying a Thai Lady
Another way is to look at it is how non-bar ladies engage with ex bar girls away from the bar environment, in mixed company. Long termers will have seen this.

Thailand forcing Cashless Society

Thai Mobile Banking Apps Crash On Payday, Transfers Put Off
Have just received notification from SCB that their SCB Easy Net service ( used via computer and internet) will be stopped on 14th of this month because the SCB Easy Net (phone) is more advanced and secure. 555 SCB obviously does not care about those clients that do not use phones for banking. Shame on them.

Thailand’s barrier-free toll system: a boon for motorists – and a challenge for cheaters
Maybe because as the article noted at it's end there were many cars using the same red plate number. I wonder how many the will eventually catch.
