  1. Again, Trump never stated injecting bleach or any disinfectant. Source other than an article misstating what he said. You know he never stated this and it easy to confirm he didn't. This is how you build trust? Even CNN's fact check makes it blatantly obvious that it isn't true.
  2. Biden said it not Trump. Biden made a false claim that Trump stated drinking bleach prevented Covid which can be fact checked. I don't blame Biden. Fools will be fools. I think the location (not Texas) has something to do with the logic displayed here.
  3. Cleaned my Dynavap B really good and took dainty inhales as one poster suggested and it was a better experience, Go figure -more smoke than the prior big inhales. Maybe it was more me than the Dynavap I still hope the Xmax delivers an even better experience for my light usage.
  4. No he did not and do a fact check. It is Ok to be wrong but please think a little before attacking the keyboard. You claimed he said inject and drink bleach which you know he never said at this point but you are still determined to be right. You do know that many disinfectants kill the virus? Wouldn't advice consuming most if any. They were used extensively to clean surfaces during Covid.
  5. Injecting bleach? Drinking bleach? Keep reaching
  6. What a hypocrite you are - amazing how determined you are to be taken seriously. Show me where the Orange fella said we should drink or inject bleach. You can't because it was said by Biden when he incorrectly claimed Trump said it.
  7. I agree with you mostly but at the same time I can listen to others that think differently and don't indiscriminately label their beliefs false. Not doing this leads to bad outcomes in my personal life even if I initially get what I want and historically has been proven the wrong approach.
  8. I think he cares Brian. He feels he can't trust the guy and you seem to lack empathy. Bashing those that don't share your beliefs is kinda childish - No?
  9. This a what i was for all along. I think this is great advice. Up to individuals to decide and to be honest if I was in poor health, I would be the first in line for another jab.
  10. He now has limited people you can trust and the President of the USA I guess is not one of them. I think he may be right here though. I voted for the man but in hindsight maybe the orange man might have been a better option. I think his last post he informed us that only members of the medical community should be heard and I bet if you push even further, only a sub category of medial professionals that agree with his stance are valid. Dan O has found a place to feel important and he pushes his tribes beliefs to no end. Many of his beliefs may be correct but telling us what sectors of society should be listened to is ridiculous . We all have a voice and we should be able to express our opinions. He will get supported by certain members and he will mistake this for relevance. Sad but that is how things roll online. I could almost guaranty Don O wouldn't be an obnoxious know it all if you met him in real life. Weird...
  11. Thanks and I hope to have a similar experience.
  12. I'm a runner and I feel that vaping is much better when it come to lung issues. Not saying you might be right but a conclusion that I came to after doing some research.
  13. Thanks and hoping I don't regret the Xmax V3. Maybe I should have forked over more money. I only smoke for a few minutes in the evening and am a lightweight so I chose the Xmax.
  14. Thanks I missed that and my apologies to TallGuyJohninBKK. My bad..
  15. Strange post. May I ask how old you are? In your world nice drug reps never convince doctors to use drugs they probably should not be prescribing. You came to this conclusion because your lovely wife is a good person and a drug rep. Congrats on finding your wife but it is just a tad more deep than her ethics. You seem to have good intentions and as I stated a good wife but your reality might not be the end all. This conversation is over for me. You are set in your believes and they may be correct. I just have a different opinion and we aren't having a productive converstion. Feel free to respond, like I have a say- lol, that is only fair but I'm done.
  16. Source? how many shots? Was the study done by scientists or was it a conglomeration of data from multiple countries. My gut is telling me it was after 2 shots which few people had and by the time we did, we needed more shots because of newer variants. Probably a waste of time asking but I do remember it was forbidden to make claims without sourcing on this forum. I can only assume those rules apply to you.
  17. To use a derogatory label (anti-vax) for a person is a sign of the the labelers lack of sincerity and intellect. We all got a little frazzled during Covid and labels were rampant but let go of your deficient means of discussing topics. There is a time and place for labels but your timing and placement is off. Let it go ... Please tell how the quote above you are aggravated by is all wrong. There seems some truth in the other posters statement and I worked in the marketing sector of the pharma industry for years. Huge amounts of money are spent on convincing busy doctors to prescribe their drugs and at times to the detriment to the end user. A society where professionals, scientists, doctors, etc can't be questioned is frightening. For me, the can't question mantra, was more aggravating than anything else but I hope you get the point.
  18. I myself went the vaccination route because I was given zero choice if I wanted to remain in certain organizations or participate in events. Vaccines I still believe helped many but forcing them on people and at the same time suppressing discussion is borderline evil. What people still don't get IMO is that vaccines weren't adding much benefit for the under 10 crowd and for very healthy individuals like myself. What would have happened if the government spent a fraction of the money spent on vaccines on educating and convincing people their lifestyle choices were putting them at much greater risk of death from Covid. Nope - 2 years later and society is unhealthier than ever and looking for quick fixes to their physical and mental health issues. The answer to 99% of our fears is within our personal grasp and no need for miraculous drugs or whatever your savior is at the moment. The current "savior complex" is debilitating. On a positive note - life is a hell of a lot of fun for most of us regardless of all the above.
  19. BIDEN: “You’re not going to get COVID if you have these vaccinations.” — town hall. Many were telling us vaccines would end the spread. Biden was off base and honestly I'm probably going to make more mistakes at his age. Many other officials were telling us that the vaccine would almost eliminate getting the virus minus rare breakthrough infections. We learned within months that this was far from the truth and many started doubting the vaccine. I personally still believe the vaccines were an incredible accomplishment with a positive impact on the spread and fatality rates. What upset many of us was that we were not allowed to freely express any doubts. It was a sad time and weak people became powerful and abused this power. Shame on them and all the hatred they promoted in the name of doing good. Some good people lost their minds is how I look back on the covid era. Forgive and move on.
  20. Seems like the tide is changing. I wonder how your vaccine perspective will age. Not well is my bet. It is nice being able to express opinions again without the angry "only our believes matter" mob. I think you would be better informed if you saw both sides of this issue but I know from past posts you have made that other perspectives are irrelevant. Seems to me to be a sad way of living but maybe I'm wrong and your a pleasant chap with loads of real life friends.
  21. You're probably right but I just can't make it work being dainty or pulling so hard I risk a abdominal hernia.
  22. If Thai government officials or for that mater any Thai or lets go even further, any rational person is reading this thread, they are having a huge laugh at our expense. A high demand retirement destination that has made the process easy is going to make it the most difficult place to retire in the world. Fear sure gets some members on this forum to lose touch with reality.
  23. Tax residency's definition is country specific. This new regulation probably has nothing to do with Expats retiring in Thailand. It probably has nothing to do with Thais that reside overseas as long as they aren't tax residents and this is why the reg stipulates tax residents. Thais that aren't tax residents will not pay taxes when remitting money from abroad. Same types of tax regs apply in Finland in regards to tax residents and many other countries. The purpose of this reg is to to tax Thais that are tax residents that have foreign investments, property, and income. The odds of this having anything to do with 99% of Expats residing in Thailand is miniscule. The implementation of taxing foreign transfers to foreigners would be interesting and I would venture to say impossible to implement.
  24. Wow - I guess I don't get it. All good and stupid me is off to go stick my head in the sand. Cheers
