  1. Correct and hence the warning lights. I would normally not leave that early but I had to get to Kalasin Road Transport early enought to change over my number plates. 0200hr is 2 am. Got you covered mate. ????
  2. Drove into our local Mo Baan Friday arvo. and kids on bikes all giving the 3 finger sign to cars. Some cars tooting some not.
  3. Just did a 12 hr drive from Chonburi to near Mukdahan and for nearly all of 700 odd km there are road works. At 0200 hr most road work places are dark, plus rained most the way and nearly all the trucks stopping at traffic lights engaged their worning lights as they slowed down before the traffic light stop. There's gotta be a reason for that. Seems obvious to me. I do it too if stopped at lights and can see the next wave of vehicles coming in the rear mirror.
  4. Do you think spiral staircases are ok when you're oldish or pissedanbroke?
  5. Sorry to go off topic. I usually take the stairs everywhere (no lifts etc) and many/most of the stairs are built incorrectly. Either the 'run' is too small or large or the 'rise' is the same. Many, many 2 or 3 storey buildings have low head height. But the builders seem to use those cement slabs, placed side by side for the second, third floors. So you may be able to have steps to a landing, then 90 degrees for more steps to the second floor and remove some cement slabs without interfering with the beams. But as Crossy says, need a picture or two. Building correct stairs is a real art.
  6. Most people call where you eat a kitchen. But, if you want to call it a feed shed that's fine.
  7. OMG. You'all have bought back my darkness. I was gropped by my Ballroom dancing teacher when just 12 years old. She grabbed my left hand in hers and put my right hand on her back then started to knee tremble me while Quick Stepping me in circles. I shoud have reported her. ????

  9. Similar here with an aircon installer. SWMBO decided that the veranda had to closed in, so 3 compressors had to be moved. First the aircon movers were going to run the inverter pipes 2.5 m on top of the veranda tiles. That was a no go for old people. I said run them in the ceiling. So they were going to run the drainage line from the aircon sump, vertically up 0.3m (with no pump) then 2.5 m horizontally in the ceiling, then 2m down the outside wall. So that mob were let go. With the next mob we installed 3 pumps on the drain sumps outlets and 5 years later still working OK.
  10. Sounds good and workable. But then I wonder about their hydraulic engineers who plan road drainage grates on road crests.
  11. Just wait ....everything will open up and become clearer.
  12. @Bagwain was probably the Pattaya pool guy. Knowledgeable guy. You can always send him a PM.
  13. You can always put a pump on the drain outlet and run it thru the ceiling.
  14. One window must have a crank operation facility, so incase you shutter lock your house all down for the night and you have a power failure and fire, you can get out.
  15. You can get them here in Bangkok I think but can't remember the place. Search for Roll-a-doors or garage automatic doors. The blinds I saw were on such a site, they built the garage and window mechanical shutters.
  16. I'm not dure what you mean, I have made a new post and can only find old posts on this topic. Old meaning 2018 etc.
  17. Yes I've had a look but only all old posts I can find.
  18. I need someone in Pattaya to come to the house and repair some kitchen cupboards. Anyone any information on cupboard fixers in Pattaya?
  19. I've seen so many posts on it in this forum that there must be something in it. Still not seen any sheep pens in a particular part of Pattaya.
