My point Mr Know All is to point out that its not needed at Jomtien, the topic is not office specific. Much like you pointing out that CW doesnt require one. You spend so much time on here answering mundane queries that you think you own the forum. You post attempting to correct me was totally uncalled for.

Agent recommendation Pattaya

Nothing wrong with Key Visa, not as cheap as many others, but ok. Darren is a straight up bloke. -

Using an agent to facilitate a retirement extension is perfectly legal. The stamp you get and the signature is exactly the same whether you use an agent or not. -
O retirement extension lapsing.

I disagree. People change from visa exempt and Tourist Visa to a Non O/extension of stay all the time otherwise there would be no one moving to extensions. 2 or 3 months before his renewal he surely can move 800k to his bank. Is this correct @ubonjoe -

I know a lot of people will not agree with me, but I would use an agent this year. You already have the Non O that your extension is based on. An agent I can quote Pattaya rates will charge 13,000 baht, Bangkok will be a bit more. You then have until April 2023 to sort out you finances and get the 800 k back in your bank account, allowing for the qualifying period of course. Using an agent this year does not mean you cant revert to doing it yourself next year. -
You are flying Thai airways. Thai follow the end destination rules, in this case the UK. If fully vaccinated. No pre flight test required. Passenger Locator Form (PLF), filled out online within 48 hours of flight. ATK test for day 2 or before ordered online and details of order input on PLF. Things change on 11th Feb Requirements are different for unvaccinated.

Are airlines currently strict about hand luggage?
jimn replied to edwardandtubs's topic in Thailand Travel Forum
I have just looked up 55 litre backpacks and they look very big. If this is the case it will obviously be noticed and you will have to pay excess baggage. -
On a similar theme. What happened to Bill and Ben, the flower pot men.

Well I have gone back to the UK twice since this nonsense started. 2020 and 2021. Granted I had to do 14 days and then 7 days quarantine on my return bit its worth it to see my grandkids. I disagree about skyhigh airfares I dont know where you got that from. In 2020 a return with Quatar for 23,900 baht. In 2021 a return with Finnair for 21,400 baht and I have just booked my return this year with Qatar for 22,650 baht.

Not there any more. Some bars requiring an ATK test, especially on Soi Baukeau. The area and Tree Town very quiet now after the madness of Christmas and the New Year.

There is no 14 day AQ since the African countries were allowed the same entry rights into Thailand. Its now 7 days for vaccinated people and 10 days for un vaccinated.

ASQ ended months ago. Maybe you are in AQ.

Forgot re-entry permit, visa cancelled?

Look @DrJack54. There are too many know all people on this forum already. I could have pointed out to the OP exactly the same as @Sheryl. There are no brownie points here for making the OP look stupid. -

OMG I know you are correct but your post is full of pedantic nonsense. The only helpful point to the OP is your last point. The previous 3 points just point out to him that his terminology is wrong. There is no need for it. As a moderator you should be a bit more sensitive.
