  1. Cash only. I bet you downloaded the app in the UK or something, if you did it will request credit card option. Delete it and re install
  2. Yes up to 72 hours after but not before. You would of course have to inform the Test and Go hotel.
  3. So do you want to enter Thailand in Phuket? From the info provided it seems your itiniary is Abu Dhabi to Phuket, no mention of Bangkok
  4. Thats another error. It is a bank statement showing £10,000 or an income from a pension of at least £1,000 per month. For the residency just upload yout passport page again.
  5. Xanax occasionally if you can get it. Or Atarax 25mg freely available at pharmacies.
  6. A bit too quick with your comment there @racyrick. Absolute joke of a response from you. If you had taken the time to engage your brain, you would have realise how nonsensical your response was.
  7. He is the OP. He asks for advice and then proceeds to flame someone offering advice
  8. Yes Etihad needs a PCR but they fly via Abu Dhabi, not Bahrain lol
  9. I am aware that my wife can apply for her visa 3 months before her visit. Does anyone know how far in advance the appointments are available. Are they released in blocks or can she submit the application but book the appointment for say 3 or 4 weeks in the future.
  10. Although I am sympathetic to your sitùation, you cant go around blaming others for yout own failings. The requirements clearly say a lab report result via the RT PCR method 72 hours (48 hours with Etihad) before you flight. I cannot understand why you did not ensure that you had this in place. Its a schoolboy error.
  11. I was with you until you mentioned Hoegaarden. What a foul taste that is
  12. So you go around with a smeared @rse all the time then. Since when is the water that cold over here anyway
  13. Just to be 100% clear. Qatar and Emirates follow end country requirements to board their flights. Etihad and Singapore require a PCR test within 48 hours of departure to board their flights no matter where you are flying.
  14. Ok thanks I thought I read that at CW retirement extensions were placed under a consideration period as well, maybe that was marriage extensions.
  15. Thanks UJ but why do offices like Jomtien approve retirement extensions almost immediately, no under consideration there.
  16. Yes I know what it is, but why do they do it. CW does it and this is probably the biggest office. Is it something to do with volumes that they cant deal with requests as they come in?
  17. Hi Tony, if I may a quick follow up from my topic from last month. We plan to go back to the UK on May 25th. With the current delays in processing applications, when do you think would be the best time to submit the application. I was thinking about March 20th, that would be just over 9 weeks. Is this enough time in the current environment.
  18. What is all this "under consideration" all about. I have heard about it regarding extensions of stay based on retirement/marriage as well. Never occurs in Jomtien you apply one day and get the extension the next.
  19. Lol thanks for giving me a good laugh. You sound like a right know all. I am surprised you didnt do the work yourself.
  20. I have been back to the UK twice since the pandemic started. I am sorry you are just making excuses, if you really cared about seeing your Grandkids then nothing would stop you.
