No point at all in taking Amoxacilin. Its an antibiotic, Covid is a virus.

Obviously KYC is well known to some probably only in the US. I am a Brit and have never heard of it. When asking questions make sure you KYA.

Who are you?

Your question does not make sense. There is an O visa (no insurance required), an OA visa (where you need OA insurance). There is no O and A Retirement Visa. What is it? Once clear. My next question is Are you renewing an extension of stay at immigration in Thailand or is it a renewal at a Thai embassy in your home country? You have also posted in the Vietnam section, thats why you have no replies.

I posted a link to AXA earlier. This is a screenshot from the FAQ section. The original OP question was if I admitted to hospital? If this is the case its because doctors deem it medically necessay. -
Little clinic on the left not far past Tuck Com heading out of Pattaya on Pattaya Tai. Last time was 100 baht.

No one now will be forced into hospital with no or mild symptoms, which was the case previously. Now if you are admitted to hospital it will be classed as a medical necessity as determined by a doctor. In this case insurance should cover it. -

As this thread is about someone who has been admitted to hospital, this is because the case is deemed medically necessay. Therefore in this case AXA will cover the costs. https://www.axa.co.th/en/axa-sawasdee-thailand-travel-insurance -

Many insurances do. In fact it would be negligent on anyones part to enter Thailand with a policy that does not cover this. -
This is what makes a mockery of the Covid extension process. Designed initially to help people who cannot get home to their own countries. Yes of course people have taken advantage of it. In your case if I was you I would expect increased scrutiny of why you are coming back to Thailand so soon. Be prepared to be asked for a flight out of Thailand in 30 days and 20k baht or equivalent in cash.

Dont be a silly billy. He is outside the country at the moment and requires insurance to get his Thailand pass to enable him to re enter Thailand. -
Try buying a case of 12 but its still gone up by 2 baht a bottle. Last week 12 large Chang 585 baht and this week 605 baht. Not that I drink the stuff its horrible. Federbrau German beer is my drink at home beer, 719 baht for a case of 12. But being a cheap charlie you wouldnt drink that.

I am sure the agent means a Non O after he arrives. He can not get a Non OA impossible.

This does not make sense, what do you think the compulsory insurance is for? -
Some of you do not understand English. He said he is sweet for aftershave because he brought 35 bottles with him. This means he has enough, not used 35 bottles, for heavens sake. You then insult him about smelling too much. People like you are the problem stinking of sweat. He has run out of shower gel and deodorant. OP there are alternatives over here although they are more expensive. Nivia is the best in my opinion. Find a Lotus's or Big C large store and see what they have.
-
Either you or your friend are misunderstanding. Either way both of you are wrong. OA can only be obtained in your own country. If entering on a Tourist Visa, the agent can arrange for change of visa status to a Non O (not OA), after that arrange for an extension of stay based on retirement.

I think he means the pre flight RT PCR test. Many companies in the UK call this a Fit to Fly

Whilst there are many people on Facebook who post SPAM there are many help groups specialising in helping peope and providing good information on what is required for returning to Thailand. Whilst aseannow.com have many helpful forums, what is required to return to Thailand and not always offering immediate quick advice is not a strong point. A specialist Facebook group is much better for this in my opinion. This forum especially Ubonjoe offers great visa advice.
