  1. I know there have been topics on this before but I think mine is slightly different. My water pump turns on and off intermittently. I have checked everywhere no leaks and even shut off valves along the route. It seems to happen when the water pressure into my property from the water supply is low. When the water pressure is normal or high it doesnt happen. When its low it cycles every 15 seconds or so. Any ideas?
  2. No you are starting to believe your own nonsense. Yes on a Covid extension they will probably write something manually to let them know how many extensions the person has. The retirement stamp hss been done everytime I have had a retirement extension, nothing to do with this mystical 2.22.
  3. Yes that happens as well but its not the main reason which is lack of funds, which is by far the main reason.
  4. Just because this happens in Chaing Mai dont assume this is the same in Bangkok and Pattaya. My extensions the ones I have done myself and the 2 via an agent just have a signiture nothing else. A bank document even if has not been seasoned for 3 months etc is not fake. The head officer who signs these off knows the score as does everyone in the office. Its an accepted practice, its been going on for years, its not going to stop. Its an official legit extension and nothing in your self imposed moral stance can challenge it.
  5. Yes in fact they recommend not to book flights before the visa is approved. Personally I did because I saw a good deal and I was confident of getting the visa.
  6. Lets cut to the chase here. The main reason people use an agent is to supply the funds. When the British embassy stopped issuing income letters I switched to this as I did not wish to leave 800k in my Thai bank or transfer over 65k each month. Now I give an agent 12.5k. I go to the bank with them, they put 800k on and out of my account and take a print out. Immigration have the authority to override any requurements for the money to be deposited for a length of time. A day later I get an official extension of stay stamped and signed by the same official as if I did it myself. Nothing illegal, all above board and everyone including immigration is happy. Why do you think Big Joke was moved out.
  7. What makes you think extensions obtain via an agent are not legit. The extension is signed and stamped by exactly thr same person in all circumstances. Its 100% legit.
  8. I saw a Thai drive away yesterday on Jomtien beach road with a child sitting on his lap. I felt like driving after him and dragging him away.
  9. You need to check that the ticket you are buying is exactly the same and includes luggage etc. Online booking websites are safe and cheaper if all goes to plan. However if you need to change you ticket in any shape or form, this is when the problems begin. If you are 100% sure you will not need to change the booking then go ahead.
  10. No need to pay anything like that. Go on to Lazada and look at the Bata shop and Power running shoes. Many low priced running shoes at under 800 baht.
  11. Hi there. Its all on this link https://www.gov.uk/standard-visitor/apply-standard-visitor-visa You have to create an account and fill in various personal details, pay for the application on line and then make an appointment to submit the bio metrics in person. I also paid about 250 baht for the passport to be returned via secure Thai Post. You have to upload the various documents to the site in various sections. It doesnt have to be uploaded all in one go, you can upload a new document up to 24 hours before the appointment. Its fairly straightforward. I uploaded about 20 documents including my UK property, pension, bank statements, sponsor letter, marriage certificate, my passport details, house, car, bike ownership, also my wife's bank details and a few other things. Good luck
  12. I cant believe an adult is posting this nonsense. You tested positive, you have mild symptoms, you self isolate at home, you get better. End of. What is the reason you need to come on a forum posting instead of using common sense.
  13. The "Big Smoke" so funny. What era are you from
  14. Just an update to my topic. My wife applied for the 10 year Standard Visit Visa on March 24th, using the normal service. She received the successful visa today April 13th via Thai Post EMS. This was a total of 10 working days in all. I would like to thank @Tony Mfor taking the time to respond to my questions. It looks like if you have a good solid case for a visa the turn around times are nothing like the 6 weeks as published.
  15. I am travelling Qatar back to the UK on May 25th. Great airline. Nothing required by Qatar or the UK, enjoy your flight.
  16. You can ask. I know he has a partner operating in the South. Contact details are Chris at Termite Tech 0822071959. Tell him Jim gave you his number.
  17. All I can tell you is I use a guy who uses safe chemicals which kill the bugs, its from Australia and he comes 3 to 4 times a year. A few houses in my community use the Thai method which is done monthly. It has a strong chemical odour and doesnt kill the termites just keeps them away, thats why its done monthly. No way do I want them spraying my house and garden monthly. As a general rule if its done monthly its not as good.
  18. Yes that horrible smelling stuff the Thais use and monthly as well. The guy I use I pay 8,000 and he comes 4 times a year. The treatment is oderfree is the best from Australia and beats the dangerous Thai treatment hands down. We also are totally ant free.
  19. You have termites mate. This is how mine started. I tried home tteatments and then went to the UK for 4 months. When I came back the house was infested. I had to replace all the kitchen cupboards. You need to get the house professionally treated. Most Thai companies are once a month. I live outside Pattaya and I use a Farang company much better 3 or 4 times a year. If you are in Pattaya I can put you in touch. Dont pay more than 8k a year.
  20. 30 days insurance is fine to get the Thailand pass. If you are on a long term visa or an extension of stay you do not need longer insurance. You are not asked to produce your Covid insurance when you pass through imigration.
  21. He is posting about the 90 day report. Why are you referring to an extension of stay renewal. The 2 are completely different.
  22. Most if not all airlines now follow destination country rules.
  23. The OP is already working on his next Troll post. This topic is so obviously fake.
  24. Very true but the poster's daughter is in the early stages of Covid, so its pointless.
