When I paid off my condo, at one bank I had to withdraw 5 million baht and transfer it to another bank that the builder used, about 5 blocks away. I told the teller to transfer it by wire, bank to bank The teller was shocked, because they charge a nominal fee per 100,000 baht, don't remember now but it was a small fee.
