My American friend sent a package to his brother in 2 months ago EMS tracking says it got to Swampypoom Airport never reached USA the local post office says its due to America not excepting any mail from Thailand due to Covid (zombies)...why would USA not except mail from Thailand when there have been no Covid (zombies) reported in Thailand for months ?????

As far as I'm aware the "residence certificate" should be acceptable ( don't offer the work permit)
you could try any of the shops displaying this sign for a second opinion.
If you go yourself you have to go to the DLT in Chonburi town not the one near to the Regents School

The nice thing about the View Talays is they were sold as empty shells--not even a finished floor. Buyers got to start with a blank canvas and do whatever they wanted.
Yes but one bad thing about that is the years of "renovation" work until all units are fitted out ...constant sound of "berk with angle grinder" gets quite annoying after a while ????

I promise you, no operators are checking out owners of parked cars. That's imo nonsense. I live here and have done so for years and very often walk along the beach.
And I promise you that if you park a car in front of their "concession" they or their "minions" will more often than not rush up and ask how many chairs you want a few times they have "shooed" me away saying the space is for their customers only...I don't argue as I don't want to come back to flat tyres etc.
I live here and have done so for years and very often try to park along the beach. ( Jomtien beach not Pattaya beach )

I have seen quite a few with the screws pulled out of the plastic frame and the door falling off.
They work perfectly well as long as you don't misuse/abuse the door
(teenage temper tantrums or drunk couples rowing)
One thing to look out for is the hinges becoming rusty that will pull the screws out especially the bottom hinge best to go with stainless steel hinges from the start on any door likely to get wet at all.

My girlfriend tried to find some lobsters to eat, but all proper restaurants are gone or only have dead lobsters
Not my recommendation but if you had gone to the far south end of Jomtien Beach there are 2 seafood restaurants that do a "roaring trade" at the weekends.

There where quite a lot of Tourist at Jomtien beach over the weekend
Pattaya was quiet for a Sunday I think most people went to Jomtien or further south ?
At the newly opened just before the WuFlu crisis struck Central festival food court they might have realised the prices where silly (200 baht for a plate of pad Thai)

I really wouldn't be surprised if it was "engineered" (or by accident)
to be less lethal to Asians.

Yes they dont like you parking on the road by their plot without renting a chair from them...on Tuesday there was an older Thai man offering mats for rent near to a deck chair operator...she went and gave him an earfull...he didnt say anything just moved a few more meters away and carried on.

I saw beer being discretely delivered and drunk.
