If when you say tourist visa you mean an actual visa issued from a Thai embassy or consulate not a 30 day stamp on arrival then yes it should be possible...your home country embassy may be willing to issue a "certificate of residence" if immigration won't.
+ if you have a motorcycle licence from your home country already...then you could use that or "exchange" it for a Thai one with only vision tests....no theory or practical test. -

We all die eventually.

Again, where is the list of government approved waste/recycling plants where citizens can legally take their rubbish for "proper" disposal ? ? ?

I had a "feted" dog entangle my motorcycle front wheel...no time to tootle, it just ran out from behind a rubbish bin on the side of the road
very painful for the dog
(died eventually)
my wife and I, 2 weeks of painful bandage changes for the "road rash" [emoji35]

Maybe a jet engine burning hundreds of liters of kerosene per hour at high altitude is less environmentally damaging than a packet of cigarettes puffed in the "smoking room" ? ?The same is smoking in the first place -
Are the "pressure wands" borrowed from some of those hand pump up type chemical sprayer bottles...or did/can you buy them separately ?

A better way to do it (though a bit technical)
is by running a CAT5 cable from existing router to the upper floor then plugging in an old/second hand Wifi router to the CAT5 cable set the "old/second hand" Wifi router up as repeater if the firmware enables that...or if not set it to a fixed IP address and disable its DHCP server then setup its WiFi settings.
the basic idea from the link below
http://unixetc.co.uk/2014/03/04/reuse-a-spare-bt-home-hub-as-a-wireless-access-point/
or if you don't have a spare wifi router
Using the CAT5 cable and access point will give better results than trying to boost a weak signal.

Also if you have the "elite" visa you only everr get the 2 years "temporary" licence. As far as I know, if you have a non-immigrant visa you will get a 5 year license when you renew. Usually dated to your NEXT birthday after 5 years.
If you have a tourist visa, then your new license will only be for 2 years - from the date you renew it.
(Cost is 110bt per year that they give you) -
YesMotorcycle Licence exam
Is the written exam for the motorcycle the same as the car?
I heard there is an example online somewhere?

Two things nobody seems to have mentioned.
1. The motorbike rider appears to have been wearing a helmet, unsecured, which popped off on impact by the car.
2. Why was the motorbike in the right hand - 3rd lane?
1: Yes looks like he didn't fasten the strap.
2: Because that's where he wanted/needed to be..its not against the law for motorcycles to use the right hand lane and certainly doesn't excuse the idiot car driver ploughing straight through.

They are crazy;
5,000 euros for a 30 y old Benz
Yes unfortunately ( for a buyer ) the second hand price of cars here is still crazy......
Yinglucks first car program helped a little bit to lower prices but they are still high.

maybe it will become like in the past, when all countries in the world used 1 version of 1G mobile networks while US had their own version of 1G supported basically only by US companies?!
Trump would like that I suppose... Lots of jobs for Americans reinventing the wheel.

“I also would like to ask the new elected government to correct this strategy by building the large few wastetoenergy plants, which have higher pollution control standard, instead of small many wastetoenergy plants,” he said.
All plants should have "the higher pollution control standard"
ohhh by the way stop burning the fields and collet the rubbish so villagers don't have to burn it...
large fines for burning...
A full list of official government refuse and recycling points where citizens can take their rubbish ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

my next trip to Thailand so I may leave it until then
After a year expiry they might make you do the driving licence theory test again... or not deepening on which Department of Land Transportation office you go to,the alignment of the stars and if the employee is having a
"bad hair day"
How we might break the plastic habit
in Thailand News

"super heated noodles to go" that are cheap and readily available....the foam yes I've seen some paper alternatives....more expensive maybe ? yes paper cups for drinks but a plastic bag of coca cola hanging from the motorbike wing mirror is still popular...and cheap...
If I was earning 350 baht per day I'd be looking for the cheap option.
Maybe if the "Poom Jai Thai" party pledge
to make growing and ownership of marijuana gets enacted they can use hemp
Instead of foam or (wood pulp) paper
Just need to figure out how to make it waterproof ....errrm a plastic bag ? [emoji12]
