Yes I get 1Gbps on my old PC running WinXp pro 64....connected to a Dlink DGS-1210-10 switching hub which in turn connects to an Asus RT-AC86U router...every link in the chain has to support the highest speed.

Can you try taking a Ethernet cable from a Mac and plugging into a PC,
Also temporary disable any antivirus /firewall software on the PC.

Maybe try removing the Ethernet port in "control panel" then search for new hardware and let it reinstall the drivers.

Do you have only 1 or more than 1 PC that is only getting 10Mbps ? If just one then either the LAN card/port is set to low speed or the lan cable is "bad"

Don't waste your precious milliseconds reaction time beeping the horn, instead use the time for avoiding/braking actions and carry on (un molested) with a shake of the head.

Yes but how do they make the traffic (internet) "route" through the new device instead of the normal route which is through the existing router....I could understand it workings if this new device connected directly to a modem or fiber converter doing the traffic inspection/blocking before then sending traffic on to the existing router to do its routing...but just plugged into an Ethernet port isnt it just listening ??....there is probably something I don't understand.

The way I read their website  it seems like you need to install software on all the appliances that need protecting ??

can't see how they would redirect all requests via the add on box  instead of the normal route via the existing router  without first having the "interception" software redirect traffic.

the forum search doesn't (and never has ) worked very well for me either
