  1. How do you know they will arrive by then? So far THG hospital in Bangkok is processing just the first 10% of paid orders with no schedule for remainder.
  2. I was referring to the need to travel 80km round trip as pointed out by the op. FWIW I also have at least an 80km round trip to do my 90 day at CW. I test online and if not working post it same day or day after. Never been an issue with post.
  3. I wonder why it doesn't even get a mention on the Thailand Post web site? #rhetorical https://www.thailandpost.co.th/un/article_detail/product/542/2005
  4. We have an old HP laptop that works OK with Windows but when we install Linux Mint the WiFi card is intermittent or mostly off completely and wont turn on on the Linux desktop interface. The HP also has a on/off function key that also doesn't seem to work (change color) and is default to off. Sometimes when Wifi is working the HP function button shows the wrong 'off' color. I don't think this is a hardware issue as the thing works OK in Windows. Should we just buy a USB wifi dongle instead? How do we pick a USB dongle that will work with Linux Mint or do most of them work these days?
  5. Looks like THG have shot their load! I got a THG Bangkok message today on LINE saying queue payers 36,001 to 387,412 ( I am about 330,000 and paid in July!) will have to wait for another announcement. Maybe Q4 next year?
  6. I use Skype about once a year when someone sends me something on it (even tho I tell them not to), otherwise its turned off. I just had to open Skype first time in 6 months yesterday on my Win11 PC and the password it needed was a Skype pwd I have always used, not my Microsoft account pwd. I was however already logged into Microsoft as part of Win11 operating system and to access my OneDrive files.
  7. You mean "Anton"? I was thinking Amazing was the word needed correcting/replacing.
  8. I wouldn't fly here without a cast iron insurance policy that doesn't cost too much guaranteeing all this extra 'gotcha' <deleted> is covered for and I don't pay a darn thing extra.
  9. What about if all the apps I run are Windows based or all of my work colleagues have a need to collaborate on files made in Windows?
  10. Even though snipping tool now starts and mostly on Win11 it seems to have rekindled some of the bad traits the earlier releases of snipping tool had on Win10 before they were fixed. i.e. if I use the free-form shape snipper or any of the pen or highlighter tools on any snipped image my screens flicker on and off!
  11. I read your link and it says "For Snipping Tool, Microsoft doesn’t seem to have a fix yet," but then I looked at my Windows update options and this weekend it offered a new update, not the one mentioned in the link above, and now the Win11 snipping tool works.
  12. I suppose it depends on requirements. For example in our home we had three old PCs/laptops from the Win7 era that struggled under a Win10 load mostly getting used to access the internet. I could have bought three new laptops but decided to install Linux Mint on all three for free. A vast improvement on the old Win7 user experience, and cost nothing.
  13. Any info from someone who's done this? Does the Morphrom or existing paper vaccine cert get updated to show a AZ booster? I heard people go there and no certs issued at time?
  14. According to this site (https://app.dtac.co.th/vaccine/index.html) for Bangkok Bang Sue center, AZ booster only for foreigners who had 2 Sinovacs. No other boosters available at this time?
  15. Which bank? I went during August and my bank K-Bank was shut.
  16. I've had an account with Bitkub for a few years. Was verified then, now they want more verification. I answered all they asked for and site said it takes 7 days. Now after 2 weeks site says: "The process will be done and a confirmation email will be sent to you within 1-7 days for general customers and within 60 days for customers with additional conditions" Does anyone know what "customers with additional conditions" means?
  17. I've got an 11 year old laptop (ex Win7) runs just fine on latest secure Linux Mint and auto updates the system daily.
  18. Yes, I did that already as I need a snipping tool. It's a retrograde fix as the snipping tool is older than the much better one I had running on Win10.
