Win11 installed itself on my PC today. Already found a bug, the Snipping Tool doesn't work. It says "A problem with Windows is preventing Screen Snipping from opening. Refreshing your PC might help fix it." I've only just installed Win11 so I'm not going to refresh (reinstall) it again!

Why would it? It hasn't worked for several months now. If you do a visa extension and it worked before, chances are it doesn't now.

I did my extension at CW in August and the mobile app never changed to the new date and today says I am 30 days overstayed. I have always been able to do online 90 day reports before but today the mobile app says 90 day notification report is not allowed for over-stayers. I tried the web site which I normally use and it tells me to visit immigration with no explanation. I mailed it in. Surely Immigration knows the online app/web site doesn't work, why don't they put an appropriate warning message on there until they fix it?

The latest p2p sites come with these command scripts for MS products obtained via other channels. Some do all and check your Windows o/s and any MS products like office in one go. Windows seems to need an update every 45 days if not legit and Office every 180 days.

I've had this before with older vaccines like Yellow Fever, the vaccine center would not duplicate their work or time filling in the Yellow book tables and just stapled the certificate in there. It was accepted as such when I traveled. I did the same with my latest COVID vaccine cert and stapled it in an old Yellow book myself.

Guess I'll just leave my PC as it is and check in a few months. Not forcing anything where Microshaft is concerned.

The Yellow books are all the same - old and new are they not? Just books that are more convenient to carry side by side with your real passport that is about the same size. I still have my Yellow book from 1981 that was issued in the UK and had pages for Yellow Fever and other vaccines. Even then in 1981 the Yellow fever pages were left blank and the actual Yellow Fever certificate paper was stapled into the book. I since had Yellow books from Thailand from about 20 years ago and they are much the same. Earlier this year I got a Yellow book from a clinic in Suk Soi 49 for another vaccine (not COVID). In all cases the Yellow books are just holders of certificates, sometimes signed/ stamped and sometimes not with actual certificates stapled in. I have not read the latest COVID yellow book in Thailand is any different. Is it? I will just staple my existing COVID certificate into my old Yellow book, as I do find them more convenient to handle, if nothing else. If I didn't have a Yellow book I probably wouldn't bother.

Maybe your friend and the IO had missed something in conversation? It's quiet simple really and doesn't need a 20kTHB agent. There is no need for the monthly 65k/m if your friend already has 900k. What i suspect as already mentioned is 'he never touches it' as you say won't work. You need to make a single deposit/withdrawal on the day of visa extension into the 900k account and show it in the bank book so the latest balance is updated. I always do an online 10THB transfer in and out of my 800k account using my mobile phone app and then print the bank book out.

I just found out from another thread, I just need to change reason for transfer from 'Long Term Stay In Thailand' to something else and transfer changes to KBank from one working day to seconds to transfer. I did this today and it worked whereas last month I didn't have this issue. In past I always used 'Long Term Stay In Thailand' out of habit. I couldn't see benefit of 'Long Term Stay In Thailand' before but used it anyway, perhaps now with a days delay it has some use to id incoming foreign transfers?

I tried Wise transfer to KBank yesterday at 4.30pm and got message 'transfer should arrive 15-Oct' whereas I normally get it in seconds. I thought maybe I was too late in day Thai time and so cancelled transfer to try again today. Now during bank hours in Thailand I get message 'transfer should arrive 18-Oct'. Has something changed? Why isn't my transfer happening in seconds or at least same day like it used to?

Good luck with that hope. My online 90 day was working fine, then I did the extension earlier this year and it stopped working. The app says I am overstayed. Before it said normal. Now I just mail in every 90 days using my calendar, keep mail receipts and never get the 90 day letter back, mainly because I move around. They have my ph number if they want to make an issue of it, but I am not going in person til my next extension.
