    I never use hibernate, cannot see the benefit of it with today's PCs that boot in seconds. Using hibernation exclusively for weeks at a time can cause performance and stability issues. It was never designed for that usage.

    I did not find the PDF files to be fillable in any way using the latest Acrobat. I could only type text on the PDF sheet where I wanted like any other PDF editor might do.

    Seems to be back online from 7pm Saturday and hasn't gone off again since. Only an apology on their X channel, no consideration or forethought to advance warn users this was going to happen in the first place or explain why they didn't.

    If you arrive late, join the queue like everyone else. A person I know didn't have an appointment last month so spent all afternoon there waiting. When he got back home he was sick from some flu virus that lasted over two weeks that he attributed to the visit as he'd been home otherwise. So to answer your thread question "how bad is it now?", it was bad for him!

    You must be still learning as you are not considering all the options. Physically going to immigration does not take all day like you say if you plan ahead and book an appointment. Do it online when you can (i.e. not after an international trip) which takes two minutes. Do it by post which takes a little longer. Using an agent is a rip off, but some may go for it, not me.
