  1. It's about time to replace the outdated 2.2 Duratorq. For the new ranger there will be only 2 liter either with one or two turbos and the 3 liter V6. Can't see the latter in the entry range or commercial models. Engine downsizing is real. In Europe, if you still insist on ICE engine not electric, most are three cylinder now.
  2. The high ground clearance 2WD Extender is already more expensive than a Triton or Ranger 4WD. If I wanted the MG, 4WD only available in the top spec trim. Therefore not an option.
  3. Still a hefty price tag of 140k more for the extended cab. Triton seems to have the best engine and chassis imo. Still convinced the new ranger is better. Company anyway does finance so the price might be not that important. Might be hard to convince them tough why to spend more money when another cheaper car can do the job, too. Well, they most likely won't ever drive the car but have the powers to pay for it ????
  4. April, not earlier? They seem to heavily advertise the launch event for Thailand which makes me think it's coming out earlier. Absolutely love the design, interior and the new efficient 2 liter diesel. Also it shares architecture with the VW Amarok which should be assuring in terms of driving comfort and quality. My company is looking for a farm work vehicle in Q1 2022. I absolutely vouch for the new Ford Ranger. Currently I was looking casually for a extended cab 4x4 pick up. Almost impossible. It's either single cab with no extras or full cab in top grade not in our price range. Also here Ford offers the only extended cab 4x4 with the current Ranger.
  5. From the first look yes, but the yields will finally tell. I guess it's still way under foreign based growing operations in the US etc....
  6. Just photo OP, PR and waste of money. The greenhouse looks ridiculous, so does the fencing around. I've seen hobby growers with better and bigger setup. As usual, without foreign advice or consulting they have absolutely no idea... But Thailand can do, we are the greatest, hub of everything
  7. From my experience drip irrigation for bigger plants is quite maintenance intensive. Drip heads often clog or have some malfunction. Also even with the biggest emitter you still need a dozen or so for bigger plants. In my garden I have switched now to micro-sprinkler in different models. Better IMO
  8. As already mentioned for special potato varieties you have to look at Villa or Central / Tops Food hall. Going to be expensive and I am not sure it's really worth it. I have done great French Fries / Chips with ordinary potatoes from Makro. I cut them by hand and parboil them for 6 minutes in water with two spoons of vinegar. Then either sprinkle some oil and air fry or deep fry in canola oil. The best brand of french fries here is either the one in the brown bag from Holland at Makro (forgot the name but they have many potato products from this brand) or another one with the american flag on the bag (both shoestring and thick cut). They are produced in India and taste especially good from the air fryer. There is almost no difference to deep fried ones.
  9. In your situation I would be the packaged sauces from Lobo or other brands available at Asian supermarkets. Their Kraphao sauce is not bad
  10. You can order online from Thaineem. Bank transfer and it's send within a couple of days
  11. Besides Betagro and CP there are a few smaller pork meat producers that claim organic or at least natural production. One brand is selling it's meat at Tops and existing since a few years, another new brand I've seen at my local Big C. Sorry about not remembering the name because I don't buy pork meat but with the help of google you should be able to find out.
  12. To my knowledge I haven't seen Pyrethrum products for sale in Thailand. However, there are several Neem (Sadao in Thai) products available. I am using from Thaineem, as it seems to be a standardized product with FDA approval.
  13. Why it must be exactly there comes to my mind? Aren't there other locations with less damage to nature and peoples livelihood? Certainly this should be part of the EIA but TiT, maybe the land has been sold or promised to Hi-So's that plan to make a fortune with it....
  14. Believe 1/10 of what he's telling and it might be right. Thais always like to brag about business numbers and money. Also with that extraordinary high price you have to find a buyer for these rare plants first.
  15. According to the full article in another newspaper where the full list of manufacturers is listed, I can't believe that a major brand with the three Ms didn't pass the standards of the TCC....
  16. I can see a brand new industry coming up: Issuing fake hospital appointments for potential applicants
  17. Why not spin the double-standards and xenophobia the other way this time: Legal casinos in Thailand but only foreigners allowed to play inside
  18. How? It's not much different from a domestic/international flight or inter provincial travel by car these days.
  19. Thais don't get or transmit Covid. Only dirty foreigners....
  20. Wow, he is a real genius. I am so happy that Thailand and Thai people have such a great leader bursting with wisdom and knowledge
  21. Sounds like you have been as me trying to get a license for just hemp... What a waste of money and time it was ????
  22. No word about the backers of the drug trade as usual. Always catching the distributors but not the real smugglers or even manufacturers....
  23. A show in its true meaning. Hardly any small farmers can profit under the current rules and regulations for only hemp, not to mention cannabis. The setup of community enterprises is just a front for rich business man to invest. All just a fake theatre and the health minister plays the director...
