  1. Oh please, not more of this nonsense. That alcohol sales rule should have been removed since years but no politician or party has the balls to tackle it. Anyone who thinks this reduces alcohol sales or even hindering alcoholics from getting their stuff is an absolute dreamer. Every (literally every) foreigner that comes here just rolls his eyes about this stupid and obsolete law
  2. New premiere from EICMA 2022: Loncin Voge Real 5T electric scooter. Loncin respectively Voge brand has a dealer and distributor in Thailand. So the chances could be quite high, that it will be available in Thailand in the future. https://info.xcar.com.cn/202211/news_2069383_1.html https://www.facebook.com/groups/742048679576050/
  3. You should be able to transport the bike in the aircraft. But you must remove the battery before and send it with special logistics company to Thailand. Not sure how this costs
  4. Just saw this two-wheeler EV scooter on YouTube CF Motor Zeeho AE8 CF Moto is Chinese brand that has a presence in Thailand mostly with ATVs / Quads but also used to sell their motorcycles here. https://www.zeehoev.com/

  6. And yet they're wondering why no international big player from the US and Canadian cannabis industry hasn't invested in Thailand yet. Because they want long term security not Thai flip flop style
  7. I was wondering that too. How can he (one individual member) give his opinion like that? Aren't party MPs bound to their political parties direction? Unless they speak for themselves in private in private matters, not public lawsuits.
  8. The MG 4 Electric received outstanding reviews in Europe and is now being touted the best budget compact EV there (plus, not so much relevant for Thailand, they can deliver some units within this year). Given the popularity of MG here, the vast dealer network plus their own charging infrastructure this could be a real game changer.
  9. The brand has been long time in Thailand already and recently just rebranded as Sleek.
  10. And then asking government to reduce or subsidy electric bills because A/C in the house is running 24 hours. Just dumb
  11. From what I've heard the free trade agreement with Australia for beef has put local cattle farmers under enormous pressure price and quality wise. Makro and Tops have now 50% imported beef, a lot more than in the past. There might be a difference for restaurants and local Thai people that buy cheap Thai beef from old dairy cows but I refuse to eat this leather meat
  12. Nice try, putting the horses back in the stable after they bolted. In reality, no one will really care about these new regulations. There'll be the occasional crackdown with police photo OP and big PR and another chance for the BiB to collect tea money from the shops. Lucky for all international cannabis companies that hesitated to invest large sums in Thailand. They happily might go to countries with goverments you can trust such as USA, Canada, South Africa, Uruguay and many more coming soon in the future
  13. In reality, nothing is going to change. That's my two cents. For how many decades prostitution is illegal in Thailand and yet I haven't seen them closing down Soi Cowboy, Nana Plaza or Pattaya Walking street...
  14. Nice, but why not MG5 as EV. Or is it maybe coming soon?
  15. I'd guess the big advertisers (Chang, Osotspa, Singha) should have enough cash reserves to pre-pay for the rights one month in advance
  16. You might try this one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pyypl&hl=en&gl=US
  17. Probably been scammed by the Thai employment agency. Nothing to do with Swedish labor laws
  18. How about sensible temperature settings for indoor buildings such as 25 degrees and not felt minus degrees like in some government buildings and hospitals. For long-term, insulation for wall and windows should be mandatory but I'm probably thinking too far, this is too much for Thai mindset
  19. Why Thailand doesn't do what other countries with world cup on public broadcasting institutions: play advertising and use this money to pay for the rights. Not rocket science, is it?
  20. electric or gasoline engine?
  21. I think Thai people generally feeling the influx of the wealthy 1%, that make land prices more expensive by speculation. Not actually buying the land for some purpose other than tax evasion and money laundering. It has nothing to do with a handful of foreigners wanting to own a small piece of land for their own designed home. If the government really would be interested in tackling the high land prices the should introduce proper zoning laws and a deadline in which a house must have been built an urban land for housing purposes.
  22. Anyone driving or has heard about the Super Soco TC max?
  23. Regarding electric two-wheelers / motorcycles, anyone driving or has some first-hand knowledge about the Super Soco TC max? Actually waiting for the release of NIU RQi but our current family motorcycle (Scoopy with almost 100k, not kidding) waiting to break down anytime soon and I don't want to invest for some major repairs.
  24. I have same experience as you, the battery electric sprayers sold at DIY stores and local garden stores are absolute garbage. We hade five or so that we bought at several outlets and all returned for cash within a few days because they didn't work. So now for outside we opted for a generic two-stroke petrol sprayer 20 liter (Kanto brand, but other are mostly similar) and a Makita battery powered sprayer 5 liters for the greenhouse. Both work like a charm but to be honest the petrol sprayer is pretty heavy with full 20 liters tank
  25. No offense, I don't like SUVs
