  1. Given the company description I would reckon it is some hi-so businessman operation. Can't see anything happen than just a slap on the wrist for some high ranking in the food chain. I hope the international / US press will follow up this case
  2. Good news. I am on their side. This is the first strike in Thailand I've heard of that could have an impact
  3. In other words, they won't do anything. Great. But I didn't expect any real outcome from these clowns
  4. The Thai model MG EP seems to be only available as station wagon and with the previous model front bodyworks. I wish they would have the Thai MG5 as electric version. Looks great IMO
  5. From the leaves I would say its Plumeria / Frangipani. But usually they have different flowers....
  6. Don Mueang expects 10.000 arrivals per Day. Lol. What are they smoking? Or another broken calculator? How many people have arrived through the praised Phuket sandbox? Around 300 per day maybe...
  7. Apart from MG. Great Wall Motor (GWM) Haval H6 SUV is currently the best selling car according to DLT statistics. Soon to be released Ora Good Cat the first affordable sedan EV in Thailand. Watch it, it will selling like hot cakes. Especially since it has received good reviews worldwide
  8. High center of gravity vs. Thai Engineering and driving skills came instantly to my mind
  9. Still wondering how they want to guide incoming tourists at the airports? And why they don't offer a PCR test right after arrival? Barrow wrote something that you'll have to take a hotel limousine to the testing location. Probably also the same from the airport to your hotel. As of now, absolutely unclear procedure and just ten days left for 1st November. Nightmare for incoming tourists I would say
  10. Never seen so many cars overturn and land on the roof as in Thailand? Anyone agree? I was fire rescue volunteer at home for more than 10 years and hardly saw cars overturned. Mostly collisions by side or front or simply just skid off the road...
  11. Wait until he goes bankrupt. In the current economical climate shouldn't take much long. Thais don't have a business plan or plan B if something not working out. So the problem might resolve by itself before you move into your new house.
  12. Doi Angkhang is great. I was there pre-covid and the national park administration had a fantastic restaurant and renting out nice bungalows.
  13. Can't believe you guys are still feeding this troll... He clearly has no idea about the worldwide automotive industry and just wants to spread some anti-chinese propaganda and hatred.
  14. Compressed marijuana aka <deleted>ty brickweed. Who smokes this stuff is really desperate.
  15. Good for you and don't get it wrong. KK is a nice city and I've been there several times visiting Thai friends. But I doubt a lot of tourists will go there on purpose. For them the situation in Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket and Chiang Mai is important. As long as there's no alcohol, no nightlife, curfew etc. Who will come to visit Thailand?
  16. IKEA. Plenty of choice from different fillings and shapes/hardness
  17. How many times this digital nomad thing has been regurgitated several times from all political spectrums. Nothing has been done yet, just talking but no actions. This is more interesting than a clown circus.....
  18. COE in the current form and alcohol ban in place = no real tourist will come. Say goodbye to another high season....
  19. I don't get it. The majority wants immediate changes but whichever group calls out for mass protests to oust the current goverment only a dozen people show up....
  20. Honda ADV 150. I've rented it for two weeks in Phuket and was totally happy. Much better suspension and comfortable driving than the PCX. Could have a little more power for acceleration but I'm not a fast driver anyways. Cruising between 80 and 100 is fine. It even has a nice sound I think. If I wouldn't be driving manual bikes over automatic, I would buy the ADV.
  21. Too early to rejoice. Wait for the details and small print. Also no name or source given in the article. I believe there will be still some kind of quarantine or minimum stay... Not to mention the COE or insurance requirements. Tourists want to arrive with their passports at immigration and get a stamp as in pre-Covid times. If not, the masses will choose alternatives countries.
  22. First he must find a buyer that pays his millions dream sum. Same with Buddha amulet. Theoretically worth a lot of money but you must find someone (stupid) to sell to.
