  1. AKA the "slasher visa"... Actually it's quite encouraging to note that this week's decapitation can't be linked to dodgy retirement extensions.
  2. Probably watching too many Netflix documentaries - they give the impression that dismemberment is somehow a normal thing to do.
  3. Fluids are mentioned more than once in this translation. Does grandfathering involve a sperm bank?
  4. If it's just a case of bashing through the back door, cheap to fix with a trip to Thai Watsadu.
  5. I wonder how many will do so? Scramble is definitely appropriate, with the short time window they've given.
  6. I tried one of the new Blue Riband biscuits, but it tasted like shoe leather.
  7. That was the reaction he was hoping for on OnlyFans.
  8. Maybe this is just policy at your local hospital - recent Pfizer and Moderna rollouts in Bangkok have been bivalent, available for Thais and foreigners.
  9. Did mine for the first time recently, approval took 8 days. Given the late response I wound up submitting it to CW by mail like usual as well, which made the whole exercise seem a bit pointless.
  10. SCB Easy Net service has been discontinued from this month, app only now. Similar situation with KTB recently too.
  11. Does this mean need to allow one week between notifying bank of new passport details and going to immigration to transfer stamps? As they will require bank letter & proof of funds for the transfer.
  12. I applied last Tuesday and still pending. Luckily I got a postal report off at the last minute... can't say I'm impressed with my first experience of the online system.

  15. They made a movie about this variant.... https://www.theguardian.com/film/2020/dec/10/songbird-director-adam-mason-interview-covid-23-monster-pandemic
  16. I had a good experience with MedConsult a few weeks ago, blood draw in the morning, results emailed about 6 hours later. Worth checking their Facebook page etc for offers, mine was about half the usual price.
  17. "Well they moved on down And they crawled around Walkin' sideways Sideway walkin' Give me the blues" AC/DC - Crabsody in Blue
  18. Very sad to hear. He helped me out of more visa muddles than I can remember over the years, and I still glance at his checklist each time I mail in my 90 day report or do my yearly extension. RIP Joe, and thanks.
  19. FPC if you need to know how much you can pay. HMRC to deal with the payment, they'll give you an 18 digit reference number. It's much easier if you can get registered on the Government Gateway system as a lot of the information you need is shown on there.
  20. Wouldn't 90 day reports continue to be done using copies from the old passport you entered on, until such time you've officially transferred extension stamps to new passport at immigration?
  21. After a dog bite here a few years ago I was getting shots and I asked the doctor about the rabies risk from rat bites. She said this was extremely unusual and unlikely, and that the rat would have pretty much needed to been freshly bitten by a rabid dog for it to occur. The advice instead was to come in right away for a tetanus booster.
