  1. WRONG again, as usual. AI Overview Atheists are less likely to be convicted of crimes than religious people. In fact, data from the Federal Bureau of Prisons suggests that atheists are less likely to commit crimes than religious people. Explanation In 2013, the Bureau of Justice Statistics estimated that less than 1% of inmates in the United States prison system identified as atheists. This is much lower than the percentage of atheists in the non-incarcerated population. Globally, the least religious countries have the lowest crime rates. Further reading...(may need a US VPN server to access the full article below) America is easily the most religious among the wealthy democracies; weekly church attendance is higher than Europe. If religion brought safety and a crime free country, America should be the safest. It is not. "...the United States is simultaneously the most religious wealthy country and the most violent, a lack of religion clearly isn’t our problem.” https://secularaz.org/less-religion-less-violence/
  2. Thai taxes❓❓❓Mai Khao Jai. Mai roo-jahk. Arai wah❗❓
  3. Your typical non-response...diversion and strawman tactic. You pack absolutely nothing but silly nonsense like this whenever you've been "owned". And this is how you've throw in the towel in every single one of our conversations.
  4. Buy from Amazon. MUCH much cheaper. For a genuine item, that is. For the prices being discussed here...they're fake, copied crap.
  5. *KNOCK KNOCK* "Who's there?" "Thai Tax Man" *KNOCK KNOCK...KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK...KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK*
  6. No dude, as usual you're wrong. The beauty of what's right with The USA is it is SECULAR. There's freedom of religion...and freedom from it...if one so chooses...separation of religion and government. The Establishment Clause. Unique. No official religion or favoritism of any one belief system over any other. No religious test to hold public office. And nonbelievers, yes I'm a lifelong atheist, are not persecuted nor prosecuted for lack of belief. There are plenty of American atheists in foxholes, sleeping in on Sundays 💤, then taking bullets right alongside their fellow Christian/Muslim/Jewish/Hindu/etc Americans every other day of the week. What they all have in common and most importantly is they're all Americans. NOT their belief system. They're fighting together, as a unit, for their country...NOT god(s) nor a symbol around their neck nor an avatar...but for the United States of America. Full stop. That what makes America great...individual liberties such as freedom of expression and belief or not, without persecution/prosecution, which many/most Islamic countries have. See the reality that you apparently can't handle is...I have every single bit as much right to display my non-belief avatar or to wear an atheist t-shirt as my fellow Americans, regardless of their flavor of religious belief, are free to wear or display theirs. There's ZERO difference. So says The USA and most other truly free countries around the globe. Surely even you should be able to grasp such a simple concept. 🤔
  7. Wow I actually gave the above post from you a 👍 (that's mine)...and the first❗🤣 While I agree the USA is still mostly fine and will likely remain fine, as the economy is and has been the biggest and best for 130+ years and will remain so for a long time to come. It's the straw that stirs the world's economic drink as well as all other of the free world's cocktails. That's ALL good. However here's the bad part. There's no doubt that both political parties are terribly broken and gone off the rails. It's hard to imagine...but both must first get back to some semblance of sanity...then work together in finding common ground and reaching across the aisle with viable bipartisan policies. Doubtful, but one can hope.
  8. I actually lived in Georgia for 22 years, the last 4 of which were in Kennesaw. It was and is a STUPID law and was never, ever enforced. Not even in the slightest. Not even once. Many/most folks don't even know about it. I've told a few people about this ridiculous law over the years and not sure any actually believed it. 🤣
  9. I see 3 on the list he got wrong. In no particular order... 1. Afghanistan withdrawal should have been better executed 2. Student loans...should have left that alone completely 3. Immigration The others are mostly party driven/subjective. They would have been questioned/opposed regardless how they were handled. Especially by The Republicans...The Party of "No". They oppose everything the Dems do...even if it's exactly what they want.
  10. Reactive to this...and every other health & life and death issue...every year. Never proactive or actual action active about anything. All talk...zero action, ever.
  11. He's never had the plot.
  12. Nothing "delicate" about it. It's a blatant lie and violation. He was supposed to steer clear of politics and said he would. Now she's the acting PM, with Daddy Puppet Masters hand up her backside, manipulating her every move. Nothing at all "delicate" about that❗ 🤣
  13. That's a FAKE, however... ...I bought this genuine budget tablet 6 months ago. A fine product with great specs and it performs spectacularly. A bit pricier than B2000, but that's a total scam. This one is approximately B7000. https://s.lazada.co.th/s.tm13K
  14. aka...Bay of Freak
  15. Says the most un-American, delusional, denier of facts, truth and goodness on AN. And that really takes some doing❗BRAVO Your obsession with the freaky cult master...the most disgusting and demented human on the planet...is bizarre and more than just a little concerning.
  16. Still beats the hell out of incoming silly, old, stupid, repulsive and dangerous. And that's the SHORT list.
  17. Anyone disagreeing with this post and laughing at this and posting confused emojis on what you heard and saw with your own eyes and ears are either trolls...or seriously deluded, in extreme denial, high on the MAGA Orange KoolAid and under the con-mans spell. It's truly incomprehensible and disgusting.
  18. I don't really care either, however as someone who grew up on the Florida Sun Coast and spent tons of time in the Gulf of Mexico, mainly Sarasota/Bradenton, Florida Keys, but also Clearwater and Pine Island...It'll always be the Gulf of Mexico to me. Gulf of America just sounds silly and is quite petty. But that's Trump...silly and petty, among many other much more loathsome qualities.
  19. Thanks for the info. I had exceeded one of the Wise amount limits...60 day period, if memory serves. So to get this transaction processed, Wise again suggested (in this case required) I get Instant Verification thru Plaid to proceed or use another method of transfer. Plaid was quick and easy. The fee seemed the same, possibly slightly higher...but didn't notice it...as the old (but now much slower) ACH transfer without Plaid. With Plaid, my money was in my Bangkok Bank acct in less than 24 hours. Perviously it was taking a full 5-7 days. Is it cheaper depositing (pushing as you called it) money into my Wise account and then doing the transfer from there❓I see they are paying interest on the money now.
  20. And the bad actors BS charade just never ends.
  21. That was my experience until 2024. Not anymore. See my post just above. My transfers are always B100,000 and up. ACH from USA.
  22. Been using Wise (formerly TransferWise) for 7 years. My transfers are ACH from The USA. Was always 1-3 days to receive my money here in my Thai Bank account. Then just beginning this year, transfers started taking a full week (four or five business days). Wise was prompting me to do instant verification through Plaid. I resisted for a while, but just this past week I wanted to transfer 1 million baht and it insisted I verify through Plaid. Researched Plaid and saw it's legit. Asked a American friend of mine also here in Thailand and he said, yes he did the Plaid verification with Wise in 2023. So I went ahead with Plaid Instant Verification and lo and behold, my 1 million baht transfer from Wise was here in my Bangkok Bank acct in less than 24 hours...instead of six or seven full days.
  23. The volume of a birds call can be dependent on many factors...including the direction of the birds head, distance from the bird, wind direction, etc. From Birds of the World, Cornell Lab of Ornithology... The primary vocalization is a hollow, monotonous, somewhat metallic tuk tuk tuk, also sometimes transcribed as pohp, took, pok, tuk, or toonk. The notes of the barbet's primary song are 70–90 milliseconds long, and generally occur between 700–800 Hz in frequency. The notes of the first song (at 700–800 Hz) are repeated with about a 500 ms gap between notes (49). Calls may be repeated 108-121 times per minute, with bouts being as long as 204 notes continuously.
