I wonder how many hotels in Thailand are owned by Chinese? In Jomtien there was one getting built in 2020, and it is likely open by now. I have to wonder how many Chinese are working in that Hotel with permits of course? How many years it will take for the cost of the hotel to be paid off for their owners? I also wonder how many shares the nese have in the buses that transport the Chinese tourist around the Pattaya area and other areas of Thailand? So many questions.

In every country, there are good and bad quality schools. Thailand is no different. Richer families pay more and have their children attend the better school and get better results. In Canada where i live is is not different, there are good and bad schools.

Biden and Trump are too old to be President. I pity the USA as a country for not having a law to make anyone over 75 to be inellegable for the position of President or VP.

BKK to YVR is about 13 hours, as the jet is travelling with the winds, and or jet stream so the flight is shorter time. I will be flying Vancouver YVR to Bangkok BKK in mid January and I believe the flight is much longer in time, likely over 17 hours. Oh well, hopefully my luggage arrives with me.

Trump is a prime candidate for a jail cell. Why is the USA taking so long with the process of putting this loser behind bars. The rest of the world is watching and wondering. Just my opinion of course, and I am Canadian.

If these two old senile goof balls are the only people running for President, the USA is in serious trouble. Is there not anyone under 75 years old that could be the next President? I thought the USA would make a law to retire anyone over 75 years old, and not allow them to run for the Presidency/ Wake up America...

We should all be happy that COVID 19 is not as strong as the first 2 or 3 varients. When the next pandemic hits, there will be some anti maskers who will be the canarys for the rest of us. I will wear my mask when the air in Bangkok is bad, and when i see and hear some jerk who is sick, but too stupid not to stay home. i am still a bit cautious about getting sick from someone else.

i have no plans to ever visit China again. If I land in Hong Kong, and stay at the airport until the next flight leaves, that will be the only place I want to see, unless my flight is diverted due to some emergency.

Good send her back to China and show the world that Thailand is its own country, and not an addition to China. Showing some backbone once is a while is a good thing. IMO

When I feel unwell and have to go out into the public areas to get supplies, I wear a mask, as I do not want to spread what ever I have to others. Anti maskers like Bill S, seem to forget that I do not want to catch whatever disease he may have as well. That is My Opinion.

No single young and good looking woman should travel alone in any part of the world. That is the advice this Chinese woman could say. I would give that advice for people traveling to Canada, or China as well. The Nana area is a red light area, and even most tourists know that, if the Chinese lady is Naive, that is her problem.

Hamas is still hiding amongst Gaza people and sending their rockets from areas that are near places where the population is at as well. how can I have sympathy for Palistinians if Hamas is still being the terrorists that they are, and fighting the way they are? Good Luck to the Israel military , the thought of using tons of sea water to flood the Hamas tunnels sounds like a great idea. IMO

Hey TAT, why do you not check the world economy, and get back to us with soem factual forecasts, and not fantacy wishful thinking? Reality is way different to fantacy, at least in my opinion.

I have heard that the economy in China is not that good, and of course most Chinese are not rich people. The world economy is not in that great shape either, so maybe Thailand should be happy to get what ever tourists they do get, and be thankful for that much.

Is it not embarrasing that only two old foggies are running to be the next USA president. 75 years old should be the oldest one can be to be President. IMO. Is there no on younger who could become the nexst President, and not have Dementia?

Germany is close to Amsterdam, yet they do some documentary on Pattaya. RIght! Many years ago Pattaya was just a small fishing village, and that was too boring. I like Jontien beach at the south end of Pattaya, ore family oriented, lots of good restaurants as well. IMO

I find it strange that only King Power is at most airports in Thailand. I do see many brands being sold but only one company? Really. Most airports in other countries have many businesses and the prices are more reasonable. i will never underswtand the Asian attitude. Smiles only do so much,
