Thailand has to go next door to Laos, Myanmar (Burma), Cambodia, Vietnam, and even Malaysia, and all have to agree not to let their farmers etc. burn their fields anymore. Thisw is an Asian problem, not just a Thailand problem. Most of us already know this sadly. Thankfully it is not CO2s problem alone.

If you read of an airline losing millions in a year, that is the amount of money lost in profit, compared with how much profit they thought they would get. No actual money was lost. I found this out with Air Canada loses, and I checked with my friend who works for them. That is why airlines can "lose" money every year and not actually go broke or bankrupt.

I will not support Hamas in any way. The leadership of Hamas does not even live in Gaza Strip or west bank, so if Isreal takes over Gaza strip and destroys Hamas, Good! The people of Gaza should show the Isreal military all the members of Hamas, who are hiding amongst them. I will not forget that it was Hamas on Oct 7 2023, who went into Isreal and killed over 1200 people, then raped and shot more of the women in those first few days. Hamas still has lots of hostages, several who have died since being kidnapped. When I see the protesters in the USA and Canada caying that " From the river to the sea, then claim that they did not know what it means, is disgusting. The leadership of Hamas will not surrender as he is not in danger, unless he gets assasinated. What a disgusting bunch of terrorrists.

This drug addict was likely resisting arrest, so he got tied up to control him. Haven't any of you posters thought of him being an addict high on some drug? No I thought not.

Well if I was running a cannibas shop in Thailand I would get my sales done with and sell the shop before April 2025. I guess the politicians should have thought about this subject a bit more soberly and only allowed medical mary jane for those who actually need it. There are enough drug addicts around the world, so I am glad to see that Thailand is backing off on their present policy.

Yes, swim with rhe rip tide, and likely after 50 meters or so it will lessen and you can then swim in to the shore. I like the advice, stay calm, and live. Panic and die, those are two choices.

In my opinion, I regard Thailand as a tropical country where I go for 1 to 3 months to visit. My last trip took me to the north, and luck would have it, the pollution was fairly low during my 1 week visit. i normally stay in Pattaya at Jontien beach for a while and in Hua Hin for a while, as I like being at the ocean and it is usually less affected by bad air compared to the north half of Thailand. I do not see any changes happening in my life time of 15 to 20 more years. i could never become an expat and deal with the wet, hot season of March to May or June. I am happier to stay from November to February, when Canada has its cold snowy Winter weather. Good luck to all of you expats who are affected by the air pollution.

I asked an idiot protester in Canada if they knew what river they were chanting about in their phrase, From the river to the sea. They had no clue. I let them know it was the Jorden river, and the phrase meant to get rid of Isreal. They did not believe me, so I googled it on my tablet. They were totally surprised and put down their placard, so I told them to spread their newly learned knowledge to their friends. Ain't education great!

Thailand is a nice tropical country that I like to visit for the great food, landscape and of course the tropical weather and beaches, friendly people, etc. As a tourist of even expats, we are visiters to a foreign country and should just enjoy our time instead of being critical of the country. I do criticize certain people who could be better, that that is just a personal thing, and has nothing to do with the country of Thailand.

I think Trump would look really good in orange. Maybe the others in the picture would look good in orange as well. IMO

If the Earth is warming itself up, that can be called global warming. Climate change is also happening with El Nino and the other La Nina. Extra CO2 in the air still can be measured, but it is still a trace gas of less than one half of one percent of the total atmosphere. Another trace gas is Methane, look up the facts on google before having a climate alarmist try to tell you about the dangers of these trace gases. I am sorry if coral reefs are in danger of warmer ocean levels, Maybe we should all thank China, Russia and the other nations that are pumping lots of CO2 into the atmosphere. Volcanoes must be sending lots of CO2 and other gases into the atmosphere as well. IMO

Well if I return to Thailand in 2024, I hope the weather is much cooler than it was in March. Not sure if i will be back anytime before December, when it should be a bit cooler.
