Same question were asked by many of the scammed people in the UK. Why is your husband not already in the UK behind bars and why do you wear Louis Vuitton Handbags paid with their money?
Not ridiculing your post at all but that handbag in the picture is a fake.
Louis Vuitton wouldn't have their emblem and logo with rivets for the handles through it. Nor would it be sewn through on the seams or corners.

I "heard" that the opposite is true.
They are defined, for testing purposes, as an agricultural/commercial vehicle (or something like that) in most parts of the world and do not have to meet the safety standards for private passenger vehicles, which are much higher.
Apparently that is why they are also relatively inexpensive.
I'm sure a "petrolhead will be able to confirm/refute that.
That's quite interesting info, thanks.
I assumed they would have to meet the same standards as cars.
The pricing makes sense now.

So much road rage here, the Thais are supposed to be calm Buddhist but that seems to go out of the window when they are driving.
Plastic Buddhist most of them...

The article didn't really say where the yacht was coming from. All it said is "Australian Bound". It did mention New Zealand Custom's Service.
It left Tauranga in the Bay of Plenty

I fully agree, but let's not forget that they learned from the masters ...
The Western 'civilization' has destroyed, polluted, pillaged and raped the planet in every possible way since the beginning of colonization, ie roughly the end of the 15th century. The entire wealth of the West nowadays is based on that unfortunate fact. Five hundred years later, having reached un unprecedented level of wealth, basking in the comfort and wild consumption we now consider as a vital minimum, somewhere around the end of the 1960s ie only five decades ago, we suddenly became ecology conscious, not due to some moral epiphany but because we started realizing that enriching the present generation even more incurred summoning planet-sized disasters over the heads of its descendants.
In order to widen our 'markets' we have aggressively promoted the Western way of life and thus managed to massively increase, worldwide, the pathological craving that fuels capitalism. This craving is behind the Indian, the Chinese and other giants' urge to 'develop' even more. Their stance is clear, in every big Worldwide Conference : 'you did it so why can't we?'. Greed is undoubtedly a global human trait and I'm not saying that the West has implanted it in Asia or elsewhere, but it certainly has let it, nay encouraged it to grow like a cancer.
And look at what's happening in the US now : Trump is about to enter the White House, and he's the champion of denial when it comes to ecology, so how on earth could the Chinese be made to realize that their ecological ruthlessness is dangerous, immoral, unproductive and short-sighted ?
Spot on

What amazes me is that DNA was NOT collected from the dead, photographic evidence ( pictures of the deceased ) also not apparently collected including teeth impressions, with all that the dead could have been cremated and then a jar and the necessary evidence could have been kept for years. If DNA evidence had #been collected we could see if some had been of one family )
This was disaster planning at its worst and the fact that many have stated at the time, the families wishes are paramount if you only have a few dead yes I agree BUT with thousands it is better to reply on scientific evidence rather than the actual body , you copuld keep the whole problem in a classroom sized room and a computer.

ok so tourists are being blamed for garbage in Thailand..........................well why not ban them all then you won't have a garbage problem ............................ seriously
sorry I couldn't think of anything sensible to say to this ..................garbage
whoever made this statement should be sent to the garbage pits on the islands with a shovel and a wheel barrow - hey this is now your responsibility - get digging.......
shocking
check tourists suitcases at the airport for garbage.......it must be coming from somewhere
Please note.....
The Health Department has appealed to tourists and members of the public
Not only tourists. It is an appeal to all in the community.
The only issue I see is insufficient and or convenient places to put rubbish. This is the real issue, not people being irresponsible in the way they dispose of stuff.

To bored to read all the comments lol...
If she was the victim of violent spousal abuse then surely the Court takes this into consideration.
Hence the decision they have made in releasing her, albeit on bail.
I think it is a good decision.
Those of you, who probably in jest, suggest she may flee the country... I would be surprised if she does. What resources does she have outside the country?
I have taken time to read some of the news articles on this case. We don't know the facts. Any comment is purely speculation.
