  1. Shifting from neutral to first without using the clutch does it for me.
  2. Speaking fluent English incoherently? Geordie.😀
  3. I think this refers the physical state of loan defaulters after a visit from the enforcers. I seem to recall a previous administration giving encouragement to people to buy new cars which resulted in a large increase in sales. Predictably, a very high number of buyers were unable to maintain loan repayments. I wonder who was PM then?🫢
  4. As you do at 1 o'clock in the morning...... A euphemism perhaps. The property for sale could be very spacious, ideal if you have the furniture to fill it.
  5. I think it was the 'stern' warning which scared him shirtless....😋
  6. Presumably these are a different species of macaque to those confiscated from unlucky Pierre reported yesterday?😏
  7. Especially one with a rear glass door which unlocks and opens when shaken.....😋
  8. At USD 85 each these birds aren't going cheep. As with the macaque confiscation threaded earlier, the trem 'bulbul' under CITES is a Classifier. If the birds reported here are illegal they would be Straw-headed BulbulStraw-headed Bulbul (Pycnonotus zeylanicus) recently moved to Appendix I of CITES.
  9. I think the photo is from his Halloween party album.
  10. In photo 1 my reaction was the same as the two men in the centre. Dull, uncomprehending features. ......(thinks) Why are we being shown this shiny cylinder? Just where are the QR codes? Inside?
  11. Was it paint or orange conflour powder? Answers, on a postcard please, to D.Trump, USA.
  12. Has his specific expertise been identified? I would like to attend his workshop and get expert tips on carpentry, joinery or machining. He seems to turn a lot so lathework perhaps?
  13. In CITES, the term 'macaque' is a classifier. There are many species of macaque monkey yet the article does not identify the Frenchman's pets. A number of areas in Thailand, for example Lopburi and districts of Ratchaburi, are home to large populations of macaques where they have become a pest. Reacting to residents complaints local authorities have been capturing them and neutering males before releasing them back into the 'wild' yet now they are protected species? All baby monkeys are 'cute' but can become a serious nuisance when matured so unlucky Pierre is better off without them. That said, will they really be going into responsible care? .
  14. The bargirls can't afford them. A Brazilian if your lucky.
  15. As written, the above statement implies that responsibility rests with the banks to check their customers accounts and report 'suspicious' transactions. It is my understanding from British press reports that the banks have to give DWP access to accounts and they will determine any fraud.
  16. Yes, I was aware of that but it seemed appropriate to mention the parallel need for safety in a domestic situation. To my surprise, as I read down the news clips there was the report of an elderly lady burned in her kitchen quite likely due to a damaged gas hose which would seem not to have had a shut-off valve on the regulator.
  17. We'll send our Keir Starmer over to give him a few tips......😋
  18. Apart from vehicles, homeowners should check the gas regulator which the currently have at the end of the hose connection to the cylinder to ensure it is the auto-shutoff type. There are still many old type regulators in service.
  19. Tourists will come to gape at the skeletons of rare birds littering the ground after having flown into the wind blades when they were working.
  20. But is it leveraged with soft power?
  21. Give him a kick in the crutch, that'll bring him down.
  22. Fear not. The output from the reinstated coal-fired power plants will fill the battery with a more powerful charge which could extend the range.
  23. C'mon, you should be 'spellbound' Try harder.😀
  24. Harris hawks are not native to Thailand and are probably bred here from imported stock. Some 'hunters' use them to catch native birds some of which are protected species. In this case, the missing bird was being used to deter feral pigeons in a factory. 👍
