    False headlines again. The vessels were not caught smuggling oil in Sattahip or even near Sattahip. The report itself makes that clear. This report implies that the jurisdiction of the Royal Thai Police extends to at least 100 nautical miles (185.2 km) offshore even though the Thailand EEZ is 200nm. I find that hard to believe. What was their probable cause to detain the vessels so far offshore?

    I'm confused. The reports state that......military personnel (sic) approached with a pistol in case....Presumably this means a pistol in a holster. 🤔

    I did read the linked article and this was written: Bystanders extinguished the fire with fire extinguishers before emergency services arrived

    Luckily, the bystanders had their fire extinguishers with them......
