  1. The way i understand it is if a child has 2 passports then he can use both - leave on Thai passport, enter and leave UK on British passport, enter Thailand on return with Thai passport. I got my sons UK passport around new year and it took 4 / 5 weeks. Maybe i got really lucky so i dont know if it will take such a short time with anyone else.

  4. Do you ever get that “shock” moment when someone you see someone you know without a mask for the first time. A lady I see regularly at work took her mask off recently and I saw her face for the first time. She has deceptively gorgeous eyes, I was really quite attracted to her and it turns out she ain’t so pretty after all without the mask!!

  13. i remember the PDRC protests that preceeded the last coup. During Sutthep's "copy and paste, same as every night" speeches , one of his complaints against the "Thaksin regime" was rampant nepotism and cronyism. Unbelievable!!!
  14. exactly - my son is 15 and most of his classmates have top model I phones purely as a status symbol. 30+k on a device to play games and send silly messages to each other. I gave him 5k for a phone as a new year prezzie - he added to that with his own savings and got a 9k phone.

  18. n old colleague, he was in mid 60s at the time, remarked that he would rather be happy and die younger than miserable and live longer. he had terrible eating habits - breakfast was 7 11 sausages for example. He died aged 70. i assume and hope he was happy!
