I think Prayuth has bitten off more than he can chew with this coup.
He seems to be having a little temper tantrum every day now about what people say.
He started reacting to criticism, he now loses it by just someone airing there personal view nowadays.
Even bursting out at the media for asking simple questions and blaming them for picking on him is a display that he is reaching his limits. The guy is paranoid. This is symptomatic of someone who has realized he has punched way above his weight. Now sees everything as a personal attack.

I can see all this stuff being funnelled of eventually.
Pity really, they could have sold it all off and use the money to build a long term prison just for corrupt police and civil servants.

At the point of a NCPO gun. If I remember correctly, they were
orderedencouraged to make the discounts.Even 7/11 which probably makes about 5% margin.

A bit hypocritical, but they do have a point.
The world condemns the PDRK, but jump on the side of the US in its same abuses.
There were even members on here saying the US authorities should be shooting black protesters. That is how lame some people are.,
I believe the statements were left on the forum. So obviously common opinion.

Don't laugh.
This is how these ministers justify their bloated salaries and budgets.... By spinning BS that they made up.

He said that his Thai Spring group had no intention whatsoever to stir up trouble because the group had no political motives and did not involve in any political gatherings.
But hasn't asked about speeding up any other case that's about to expire ?
Not political ? Ummm okay then
I think this case has completely different merits to other cases.
It cost the county untold financial loss, and led to loss of life, also the high profile nature of the case, to let someone walk free under the SOL would cause a hell of a lot of disquiet in the country.

The shooting of school kids is beyond forgiveness.
I would put Thai muslims in the same category as African muslims as far as being 'ruthless' is concerned.
Although the middle east are particularly bad, you rarely hear of them specifically targeting children.
Barbaric at least... insane at best.
But nice to hear according to Prayuth there will be peace in the south within 12 months.

Well if he is denying it, then it must be true.
Instead of denial, can we just see some convictions. Then the public may start to have faith in your integrity.

Or perhaps blaming Israel for Palestinian terrorism is racist against Arabs? This is what happens when Israel makes and breaks treaties. You can only push a group speak far before they become violent.
Did it ever occur to anyone how much further the peace process would have been by now if the Palestinians only used NON-VIOLENT protest methods?
Part of the explanation lies in the profound influence that the anti-Zionist ideology (a system of demonising ideas and representations about Israel and the Jews) now exercises in our culture. At the heart of the ideology is a deeply buried, often unconscious, assumption about the dichotomous natures of Israelis and Palestinians that warps our understanding of the conflict. Here it is:Palestinians (and Arabs in general) do not have agency and choice, and so cannot be held accountable and responsible. Israelis do and can; always, and exclusively.
Palestinians are understood as a driven people, dominated by circumstance and emotion, lacking choice, below the age of responsibility, never to be held accountable. Israelis are the opposite; masters of all circumstances, rational and calculating, the root cause of everything, responsible for everything.
It is, palpably, an Orientalist view of the Palestinians as the Other, except this time they are affirmed as noble savages. Its a bit racist, to be honest. For example, the Liberal Democrat David Ward MP tweetedthat the Palestinian synagogue terrorists had been "driven to madness" - which not only removes agency from them but also sanity.
Look at a world map from 1947 to now. And then tell me who the invaders are. Israel has been slowly wiping palistine off the map, what should they do? Sit with their thumbs up their butts and take it? Or fight back? I know what I would do. Pick up a gun and fight off the invaders.
I believe it was the Jews that were thrown off their land over 2000 years ago by the arabs. Or at least the then Assyrians.
Well they have been hounded out many times, by the likes of the Romans and Babylonians. But mostly by the arabs.
So there goes your daft statement of endorsement to pick up a gun and fight to take it back, albeit many centuries later.
Hahaha.

Hamas have broken just about every treaty that was ever signed between the two... usually within hours.
After this latest spate of attacks on Israelis, I have to say I admire the sense of restraint to retaliate that Israel have shown.
But you can only bottle it up for so long, eventually to have to hit back.... It's a pity the world sits back and ignores all the attacks on Israel, and as soon as they hit back, the whole world rails against them.
Even though if their own country were even just a little bit in a similar situation, these very same people will be screaming 'REVENGE' from the rooftops.
I see there are a few of them on here already.
You really couldn't make it up.

Wonder how long the emergency services took to battle their way through the throngs of Thais busying recording the delights on their smart phones to upload to their facvebok profiles while the poor guys burned to death before their sick inquisitive eyes?

RIP Phil
I can see there being new rules on bowling bouncers in all first rate cricket.
Everyone knows bouncers are there to do damage to the batsman and make him jump away. It is NOT going for the wicket, it should be banned immediately.... Unfortunately it takes the death of a young man to get this to happen... typical of everything in this world, to many rules born out of frustration and tragedy.

They basically went cap in hand for money.
They went through the initial application procedures.
They were told that it will be considered in a month and that someone will get back to them.
It went well because we were not thrown out on out <deleted> by security.

Who writes this trash? Oh, never mind. Not a lot if brain power behind any if this.
What you really mean is that you are not astute enough to understand it... which is quite basic actually and anything but rubbish.
I will wager the USA no longer has any of that gold, as much as it probably no longer has its own gold, which has long been suspected by the US public and that the Fed Res have been lying for years.
You need to ask why Germany has to wait till 2020..... If they had it, they would give it and Germany has the right to demand it in an instant. I see very uncomfortable times ahead for the US government.
I wonder if all this is in anticipation of China, Russia and the BRICS (and probably OPEC) countries about to dump the USD as the reserve currency as well as oil currency?
Makes sense, because it will destabilize a lot of currencies around the world for a while.
But it will collapse the US economy as well as wall Street and the entire US society overnight.
That is how they will bring an end to the days of US dominance across the globe.... Here today, gone tomorrow.
Many experts are tipping this to go down some time next year.

Crazy idea.
The people will vote for who pays them, or who they think will put more money in their pockets.
I don't think I have met a Thai person in the 5 years I have been here that I can have a political conversation with. They don't know the first thing about politics, they could not even name 3 cabinet members and they certainly won't know what a decent cabinet list would look like.
I'm sorry, but as far as I am concerned... 90% of the electorate are politically ignorant.

Very simplistic bunch of proposals.
To whip this place into shape it is going to need about 500 different articles just to keep a control of politicians, civil servants and public officials.
Oh..... and bespoke new prison (capacity 10,000) to throw them into for ANY breech of the law, funded by the assets of all those who end up there..... Minimum stay.... 5 years without a pardon.
-
Expect this to be pushed back even further well into 2017 and possibly beyond.
Now with the Junta also blocking Human Rights Watch website to boot. It is becoming more and more obvious that this is not about the Thai people and the country. This is all about the people in charge.
This is a power trip going haywire, and expect reactions from the west very soon.
The Thai people may put up with this behaviour, but the west certainly won't and this Junta will find out eventually that it is going to hurt.

Of course this will be expanded across many jobs, and to be selected to receive this cheap slave labour will go to the fattest envelopes passed under the table.
Got to hand it to the Thais, they are the best in the world at inventing graft and bribery related concepts.

Peaceful Ferguson Protesters Attack White Passerby: “I Just Want To Go Home”
Protesters in Ferguson have continued to gather on a nightly basis in the aftermath of the Michael Brown shooting.
They claim to be assembling peacefully, but as the video below shows, when a white man was passing through town a mob surrounded him and began making threats.
The video shows the man telling his attackers that he just wants to go home.
Another man is then heard saying “I don’t give a <deleted> what you wanna do.” In the background, a third man argues, “we’re standing up for what we believe.”
As the victim tries to get away from the crowd he is immediately accosted by several men who hold him back while another grabs him by the neck. When he finally breaks free and walks away numerous individuals continue to pursue him.
The following video uploaded to social media shows the incident from two different angles:
To any whites our there, in the USA, who are reading this:
Rioters To Target Whites: “You Will Never Be Safe… Not You, Not Your Children”
As Brian Hayes of Top Right News notes, “they are making plans to focus on White areas — and are threatening to target police officers, and even their families.”
In fact, the protesters in Ferguson have as one of their lead organizer a woman by the name of Lisa Fithian, who was partly responsible for organizing the violent protests known as the Battle In Seattle during the 1990′s. In a video recorded several days ago and posted by Progressive Today and The Gateway Pundit Fithian explains to those in the audience that they need to be targeting areas where the residents do not look like them:
“Personally, I think we DONT need to be on West Florissant. I wanna advocate that we go on South Florissant because the people on South Florissant don’t look like me. The people on West Florissant look like me and they’re with it. So… I really don’t have anything to protest on West Florissant. So if I’m in the area I’m going to Ferguson Police Department.”
All this makes me wonder how much is enough!
Simply amazing!
Every incident has been fomented by decades of anti-black racist justice system.
Not to mention the CENTURIES of anti-black racist murders at the hands of racist whites.
So obviously there is going to be a backlash at some point.... But personally, I don't blame the blacks on this one.
They have eventually come to the conclusion that peaceful protests don't work to change anything.... The system has got to CHANGE!
If you disagree, then clearly you are part of the problem and should be the ones to blame.

I think they need to scrutinize the bank accounts of the people involved in the national parks office before they do anything else.

David Cameron urges EU support for migration plans
in World News
Posted · Edited by RustBucket
It sort of pisses me off with this contrived UCL study that crows on about migrants being a net benefit to the UK.
That report would have almost certainly have been contrived to add to the armoury of the loony left. But misses the point on lots of issues facing the UK.
As for the £20Bn net benefit... Bullshit!
They did not factor in the most obvious point that mass migration has in fact compressed wages for the past 10 years and in some extreme cases, some companies and especially the employment agencies are actually paying LESS than they were 10 years ago. So that means even the British worker's salary has been muted and that means less income tax across the entire board. That in itself would be hundreds of billions in lost income tax over that 10 year period.
Then you need to look at the strain on public services that mass immigration is having. How the hell can a country look at the issue of say the education system with an open door immigration policy?... How can we sit down and say, 'look... what effect will immigration have on the system in 5 years'?... We don't know, because we have no clue about how many kids we will have at school age in 5 years... We have no clue about if there will be 66 million in the country or 85 million.... we just don't know.
Same with health, housing and all the rest of the infrastructure required for a stable society.
The British are NOT better off with an open door policy, they are worse off by far. It is breeding hatred and nationalism in the country on a daily basis.
Cameron is talking out of his ring. He has promised us 'something big' on immigration for weeks now and we already have been reading about this before he made his speech. So it is nothing new. It was already in the Telegraph a week ago that some of his back benchers advised him to promise a renegotiation with Brussels on sweeping reforms for Britain on the free movement of people across the EU or he would support the 'OUT' campaign in a referendum.... This was to pull the rug out from under Nigel Farage. and UKIP.... But that is if we ever get a referendum on leaving the EU which of course we will not.
people seem to forget that his words in the run up to the last election in 2010 was that he would guarantee the people a referendum on EU membership if they voted for him, and they voted for him and as soon as he was in power we had the all too familiar 'u-turn'. He did it then and he will do it again.
Hecan NOT negotiate the Lisbon Treaty with the EU.... He would need the support of 27 other countries to do that and already he has the disapproval of Germany, the main country that runs Brussels. and When the Germans say NO... they all say NO. When the Germans say NO, there will be no going back. They are straight talking and they would rather see the UK out of the EU than watch the Lisbon Treaty being unpicked.
Cameron is trying to 'out-UKIP' UKIP...... They seem to be taking UKIP's policies as their own one by one..... why? Because they has totally lost the trust of the people and they see the rise in UKIP support as a major threat. They call UKIP fruitcakes, loonies and closet racists..... so why are they stealing their policies????????
What has happened to them in the last 2 by-elections?
Britain is waking up to the mess Labour and the Con/LD coalition has put us in. I hope every migrant who ever claimed a benefit without working gets thrown out of the country and banned for life.
