  1. Going OK? Maybe. But going down for sure! 😀 https://www.racetothewh.com/president/polls#google_vignette
  2. The U.S. has a Presidential regime, so It's not comparable to parliamentary regimes such as UK. In other countries with a Presidential regime, such as France or Brazil, the President is usually directly elected by the people and gets its legitimacy from it.
  3. Trump has always been talking B.S., but now that he's getting old, he's completely losing his mind.
  4. He also did it before the 2016 election, when polls were showing that Hillary would win. But no problem, there will still be stupid people who will also believe him, this time. 😀
  5. It's quite possible. Thaksin has learned how parties and PMs can be ousted or banned. The new democracy movement is currently involved in such a learning process.
  6. The big steal never stopped after Thaksin was ousted, nor did it start when he was elected.
  7. It seems you are not well informed about Thakin's relations at the highest level.
  8. RFK on the ballot doesn't seem to be a problem for Kamala. Maybe for Trump? https://www.racetothewh.com/president/polls More desperation for MAGAs. 😃
  9. It takes more than two years to overcome the impact of a major world crisis. https://www.statista.com/statistics/1351276/wage-growth-vs-inflation-us/
  10. I smell a sense of desperation in those MAGA posts! 😃
  11. This the headline of the original cbs article, on 9 June: Former President Donald Trump on Sunday vowed to end taxation on tips for service workers at a rally off of the Las Vegas strip in Nevada, in a pitch to win over voters in the battleground state that is largely dependent on the hospitality industry https://www.cbsnews.com/news/donald-trump-nevada-rally-taxes-tips-culinary-union/ The cost assessment report was issued on June 17, so there was a specific news article on it. This meme is a good illustration of how how gullible people can be tricked by the right-wing and led to believe ridiculous conspiracy theories. 😅
  12. ( Another lame right-wing trick. The propaganda meme has selected an article from cbs moneywatch specifically related to the budget estimate, not the initial announcement of the measure by Trump! 🤣
  13. Look how the right-wing propaganda is diffusing ridiculous media conspiracy theory. 🤣 From CBS article: "The Center for a Responsible Federal Budget estimates that Harris' proposal to exempt tip income from federal income taxes and raise the minimum wage would increase deficits by $100 billion to $200 billion over the next decade. " https://www.cbsnews.com/news/kamala-harris-taxes-on-tips-trump-proposal/
  14. There has always been Russian nuclear subs near the U.S. (and vice versa). The only difference is that Russia has shown (some of) them.
  15. However, Russia has a record of trying to punch above its weight. It seems it cannot admit its past glory is over and it's now a minor economic power. I have noticed that the Russian people I met often tended to compare their country to the U.S., not to European countries of comparable economic size.
  16. Exactly. Finland and Sweden had no reason to invade Russia! Oh wait! 😞
  17. Sure. No threat whatsoever! 😀
  18. Again no NATO nuclear weapons have been deployed closer to the Russian border and no such intent has ever been showed. Before Russia started to make nuclear threats recently. The idea that NATO was a threat to Russia, as its European members were reducing their military potential (budget), as well as the U.S. was reducing its military presence in Europe, is a myth.
  19. It's not certain and it's post invasion. It's not an argument to justify the invasion. The same chronological causal problem again. You are justifying an event with arguments dealing with what may happen after the event. It's a fallacious argumentation.
  20. The only NATO missiles deployed nearer to the Russian border, in Poland and Romania, were anti-missiles system (AEGIS). There has never been any plan to deploy offensive missiles never to the Russian border. Another fake argument. P.S. Additionally, Ukraine is not such a strategic location. Check on a map which NATO countries are close to Saint Petetsburg and Moscow, and compare the distance with the distance from Ukraine.
  21. Fact is that no nuclear weapon has been moved nearer to the Russian border, and no such intent has ever shown, before Russia started to make nuclear threats.
  22. You are confusing "view" and strategic analysis. It is obvious now that Germany and other European countries must not be dependent on Russia. It's also not a concern with only Russia, as the current debate about strategic sovereignty in the EU is highlighting.
  23. It seems you have some problems with chronology. They negotiate now, because of the invasion of Ukraine and the repeated threats by Russia to use nuclear weapons. It cannot be the cause of the Russian war. There was absolutely no talk in NATO to put nuclear weapons nearer to the Russian border. They did not do it and did not intend to do it, before Russia started to openly and officially make nuclear threats. It's a fake argument to justify the Russian invasion.
  24. Germans are not stupid and able to learn from their mistakes. They have learned they cannot depend on Russia. It's a strategic issue. About the motives of the Ukrainians who bombed the pipeline, If I remember well, at the time of the bombing, the decision to stop all Russian gas imports had not been made. Yes, the investigation is going on, as it's a law-based country, and the German government is likely not happy about it, on principle. However, I doubt that they care that much, and also that they intend to use a large amount of Russian gas again in a next future.
  25. The same B.S. again. There is no policy to put nuclear weapons in every NATwo country. Nuclear weapons have not been moved closer to Russia since the end of the Cold War. They remained where they were initially located. In particular, no nuclear weapon has ever been moved to new NATO members. This is a fake argument.
