Video Shows Biden Saying, 'She Was 12, I was 30'?
candide replied to Social Media's topic in World News
My post was not a claim. It was intended to highlight that it was not the first time the right-wing made baseless claims about it. -

‘No turning back’: how the Ukraine war has profoundly changed the EU
candide replied to Social Media's topic in World News
She was not appreciated, I don't deny it. However she cannot be held responsible for the funny story you mentioned. Her predecessors were. You claim It's irresponsible for EU commissioners to make such declarations? What would be irresponsible would be to let Putin believe that he may have a chance to win because of decreasing Western support (which is exactly what the MAGA right-wing is doing in the U.S)., and thus encourage him to go on. -

‘No turning back’: how the Ukraine war has profoundly changed the EU
candide replied to Social Media's topic in World News
I remember that. It was funny! As to Von Der Leyen she's been in this job for a bit more than one year and cannot be held responsible for faulty guns bought 5 years before. Actually she was the one who had the wehrmacht audited and started to improve this situation. Probably not the best minister but still better than the previous one. Coming back to your initial comment, how many leaders ex Sunak or Macron had a military experience? -

They never stop trying! #MAGAliarfascist! In October 2022, PolitiFact also debunked a claim about the viral clip after some social media users claimed the in-question remark was about Jill Biden, underscoring the president is nearly 10 years older than his wife. https://www.snopes.com/news/2023/10/04/biden-video-she-was-12-i-was-30/ -

Never heard of Derkach? ???? Trump's personal attorney Giuliani meets with Ukrainian MP Derkach in Kyiv (Photo) They discussed the creation of an inter-parliamentary group, 'Friends of Ukraine STOP Corruption.' https://www.unian.info/politics/10782149-trump-s-personal-attorney-giuliani-meets-with-ukrainian-mp-derkach-in-kyiv-photo.html Treasury sanctions Ukrainian lawmaker who met with Giuliani to smear Biden Andriy Derkach, a pro-Russian Ukrainian, has promoted discredited allegations against the Democratic presidential nominee. https://www.politico.com/news/2020/09/10/treasury-designates-anti-biden-ukrainian-lawmaker-for-sanctions-for-election-interference-411750 Zelenskiy Strips Citizenship Of Four Ukrainian Lawmakers, Including Putin Friend Medvedchuk Derkach has been a Ukrainian legislator for more than two decades, but investigators believe he received more than half a million dollars from Russian law enforcement and intelligence agencies "for subversive activities against Ukraine during 2019-2022." First referendum on new constitution expected in Q1 of next year
candide replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
One of the main issue is the Senate, its role, and most of all how it is selected. - 1997: elected - 2007: half elected, half appointed by the yellow-green establishment, - 2017: 100% appointed by the yellow-green establishment, - 2024? It is highly critical for the establishment. It has already lost most of its popular support, so if it loses the ability to control the Senate, It would be a major loss of political power. Not to mention that, as the Senate is involved in the selection of agency members an judges, it may also progressively lose its grip on them too. They will fight like hell to keep some power. -
Trump co-defendant pleads guilty in Georgia election case
candide replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Politically motivated? Do you think that in any other western country, a President or PM putting pressure on officials to find 11,780 votes (on top of his aides and lawyers organizing fake electors lists and computer system breach) would not have been indicted (on top of having been fired from his own party)? -
House makes history, removes McCarthy as Speaker
candide replied to Social Media's topic in World News
No tears for McCarthy ???? "I wasn't sure it was going to pass," he remarked. "You want to know why? Because the Democrats tried to do everything they can not to let it pass." Brennan responded with laughter. "Democrats were the ones who voted for this in a larger number than Republicans to keep the continuing resolution alive," she said. "Did you watch the floor yesterday?" McCarthy asked. "Yes," Brennan replied. "Ninety Republicans voted against it." https://www.rawstory.com/kevin-mccarthy-shutdown/ -
Why a rare gun charge against Hunter Biden could misfire

I think no one is interested in him as an outlet, for not being able to find anything on his father. -
Reply 2: Not Trump's DOJ? Well , I was just parodising the right-wing. Not his DOJ then, nor Biden's DOJ now either. But certainly not anti-Trump at that time as they were led by a Republican, at both the DOJ and the FBI. Here are a few example of not being against Trump Justice Department backed Trump strong-arm of House impeachment probe https://www.politico.com/news/2020/01/21/justice-department-backed-trump-strongarm-house-impeachment-probe-101333 Judge Slams Barr for ‘Misleading’ on Mueller Report https://www.courthousenews.com/judge-slams-barr-for-misleading-on-mueller-report/

The response to your other theory is that the number of reports is probably linked (in all States) to: - the fact that robbers are seldom arrested (you made this claim about Texas), - the possibility of having their insurance pay for it. In most cases, insurances companies may only pay for theft in case of property breach. Most retail linkage or theft probably don't fall into this category. For these reasons (among others such as lack of time, etc...) It is likely that only thefts above a certain amount are reported in both States.

Of course, there are always research limitations.Yet you don't have any data to contradict it. As mentioned by Heybruce, there is also a very logical explanation: if you are an illegal immigrant, the last thing you want is to be stupidly caught for shoplifting. About your last claim, it is a peer-reviewed article, it was financed by a grant from Trump's DOJ. In 2019 and published in 2020.

As usual.... Illegal immigrants commit less crimes in Texas than born citizen Quote: We make use of uniquely comprehensive arrest data from the Texas Department of Public Safety to compare the criminality of undocumented immigrants to legal immigrants and native-born US citizens between 2012 and 2018. We find that undocumented immigrants have substantially lower crime rates than native-born citizens and legal immigrants across a range of felony offenses. https://www.ojp.gov/library/publications/comparing-crime-rates-between-undocumented-immigrants-legal-immigrants-and

Wow! Lol! You carefully avoided to mention who was "he"! It was Putin! Quote "He has indeed interfered in our elections in the past," Psaki said, referring to Russian President Vladimir Putin Thete's no doubt that there was Russian interference. Confirmed by the FBI, and also by the GOP Senate committee!
