Electric Vehicles in Thailand
richard_smith237 replied to Bandersnatch's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
As you repeated misunderstand the concept of 'market growth in a down turn' I explained it to my child... he understood it, so I explained it in the the same way to you... just trying to help you. -

Approximately 35 Million People a year use Agoda for their bookings... This 899 baht 'additional cost' that Agoda are writing off out of good will is normal business practice. But... If that doesn't convince you there is this... the cost is 0.0000254 baht for each of Agoda's customers... (this year). So... even if this mistake was made 39,370 times, that would cost just one baht per customer which you could virtue signal and pee your pants about until your napkin gets too soggy - but everyone would still recognise your point is as pathetic as it is mathematically illiterate !!!

Well done... You got there in the end !!!

A post drenched in hypocrisy it drowns in its own stupidity, you lecturing on morality is like a cockroach preaching hygiene.... You’re not just scraping the bottom of this forum’s barrel; you are the sludge beneath it... A broken, rusted scrap of irrelevance rotting in the filth where you belong continually attempting to trigger and troll... the forum equivalent of Chlamidia, you just won't go away !!!...

Krabi Restaurant Outraged After Tourist Dines and Dashes
richard_smith237 replied to snoop1130's topic in Krabi News
Very odd... There has been a spate of 'dine and dash' reports on this forum recently... Is this on the increase ?... .... or is it simple a 'news contagion effect' where news of a specific issue garners attention and thus becomes 'more reportable' and is reported on more often. -
'The Mastermind' .... ... got to love these reports. So it took them 3 months of investigation to discover a foreigner was operating a business without a license and work permit - Gripping Police work !!!! Now, they can start working on all the other rental companies who rent out un-insured Motorcycles to those without motorcycle licenses.... Whats good for the goose is good for the gander, no ?

I don't think you are very sharp vinny.... No one is denying that ALL car sales are down. I'll keep it simple for you. In 2023 you sold 80 Apples and 20 oranges (total fruit sales: 100) In 2024 you sold 42 Apples and 18 oranges (total fruit sales: 60) Proportions: In 2023 Apples sold 80% of the Market and Oranges 20% of the Market. In 2024 Apples sold 70% of the Market and Oranges 30% of the Market. Even though total fruit sales dropped - the market share of oranges increased from 20% to 30% I took this example from my primary schools son's maths text book - I hope you can manage to keep up... After all, it can be explained to you, but it can't be understood for you. -
This is a confusing number to reason about.. From Google: "Per billion passenger-kilometer" (pkm) is a unit of measurement representing the transportation of one billion passengers over a distance of one kilometer. It's used to quantify transport activity and is calculated by dividing the total number of deaths by the number of passenger kilometers with a factor of 1 billion. I'd rather know the inverse, how many kilometers on average do you need to bike before seeing one death? Its basic maths... Expected distance = 1,000,000,000 km X Where X = Fatalities per Billion. Thus: from a Statistical perspective below is the expected distance before a fatality for each transport mode. Motorcyclists: 13.5 million km Pedestrians: 62.5 million km Cyclists: 62.5 million km Car occupants (1-2 fatalities per billion km): 500 million to 1 billion KM Bus or coach occupants: 500 million km

You deliberately post half a factoid / half the story in an attempt to distort the reality of what is happening.... Its not lying or telling a miss-truth.... Its just not telling the whole truth. EV Sales are Down ICE Sales Are Down. EV Sales are down less so than EV sales - the EV's side of the car industry is weathering this 'market downturn' better than the ICE side of the car industry. Its not really that hard to understand is it ? -
IF the room was booked twice.... as you mentioned earlier, one of them should be free (at least for the first night - until they filled it after a no show on the second night). Thus: Can the hotel (guest house) show that there were two separate bookings ? Can you get written confirmation from the hotel that they have full occupancy for your 'booking' duration (thus the other room was occupied anyway) ? ------------ You may need to chalk it down to experience. I got caught out in Japan.... I'd booked a hotel that had free cancellation until the night before. Given 'variable travel plans and inclement weather in the mountains' - I opted to hold the booking incase transport options were closed off (plan B sort of thing). I tried to cancel the day before, but the internet in the area was soo poor the Booking.com kept hanging..... I figured I'd try again later... the poor weather interfered with the internet so much local Wifi was down, cell service was intermittent...... and by the time I was able to get access, it was after 10pm (Thailand time) and I'd lost the the cancellation option... ... Lesson learned... I wrote to claim the issue - it wasn't booking.coms fault & the hotel weren't interested in a refund, I even asked to for an open booking as we'd be back the following year... hotel went off-radar (no response)... we ere in the same area the following year and of course didn't stay or eat at that hotel - but the issue was ultimately my own fault.

You've accused George of suffering dementia.... ...... to use your own words against you, what gives YOU the right ? Gottfrid, you're vapid hypocrite.... attacking a guy who's asking for help, this isn't one of his usually off the wall stories... have the mental capacity to differentiate.

It would be very surprising that another other human stomached you long enough to have offspring... But, in the event of a momentary but significant lapse in judgement, given your vapid and toxic attitudes one would hope that the apple fell as far from the tree as possible, before rolling down a long hill, into a river and floating oceans away from any vapid influence you otherwise may have inflicted.

He's still someone who's parents are worried... Whatever legal consequences he faces or has faced for his actions, matters is not related to the worry his parent face now. In the same manner... If you killed someone while drink driving and disappeared, I'd still be showing compassion for your family whom, though its a very slim possibility, may show concern for your well being.... You simplifying and dumbing down every issue to it binary basics shows a significant lack of intellect. You really are focusing so very firmly on the horse molestation, rather than the actual story that this guy has been missing for 3 weeks and his family are worried. Again, you bring Thai vs Farang into it is a halfwitted attempt to trigger further argument is just another flawed attempt to point score, is pathetic and typical of your lobotomised and delusional thoughts.

As you have noticed in the past... The times I show a complete disregard and a lack of respect for another poster when they make nasty toxic comments... the posters who can maintain their class (or whatever you wish to call it) never receive such comments from me - I save such vitriol for the true ayholes. Thus in the contexts you describe, 'my' agenda has has only one facet - those who can be so nasty and outrageously toxic also have some words coming their way... Perhaps the reason you are so butt hurt by such words is because they are familiar to you after I've called out out for your own contribution to toxicity and nastiness in the past. That said - I note earlier in this thread, you also called out those for their unnecessary and toxic comments - I agree with those comments you wrote.
