    Spiriting a car away for export in a container with some dodgy paperwork is the easy part. Receiving the car via customs in Bangkok and paying duties (or not!) then registering it here fir use on the road is the difficult part requiring many officials to help it on its way.

    Getting deported for a minor infraction is disproportionate. How about deporting for not wearing a helmet? How about being over the drink drive limit. Both of those are more dangerous than a donut in these circumstances.

    The danger posed in a deserted car park was far less than the average everyday driving seen on the roads here every day. Half a donut is not drifting. Nor is the smallest size diesel engine BMW’ produce " high power". Pathetic overreaction re revoking visa.

    Leave it alone and it will wander around harmlessly amongst humans just going about its business. Saw a huge one in busy temple grounds in Bangkok- everyone was obviously used it and it to humans , just passed a couple of feet from me - didn’t even bother to look up - almost hurtful disdain… 😔

    Firstly the only direct flights are into Heathrow and they tend to be cheaper too. Eva air is good and mostly comes out best. No point having a car in London, congestion charge etc. for car hire start with moneysavingexspert.com where they'll also give you links to insure the excess (CDW) separately from the rip off the car hire companies charge. Yes it pays to book in advance too especially in peak summer time. Good luck
