I live nearby and been a couple of times over past decade. However the 2 tier pricing (10 x normal price for Farang) 400 baht means I haven’t been for several years and won’t again. To be honest I was quite underwhelmed by it given it’s supposed to be Thailand’s biggest national park. -

Bit of a wild statement "There is simply no real fundamental cultural demand for safety" i would try saying that to the victims It is simply every ones responsibility for safety That’s my point exactly. It’s only when they become victims that it dawns on ,then evenly only some ,of them. Why else do they not wear helmets? -

There is simply no real fundamental cultural demand for safety. If there was you would see people taking simple inexpensive measures to protect themselves, like wearing helmets or not drink drive. They get what they deserve... -

It’s a Faustian pact between the population who don’t have the intelligence nor inclination to include safety in their lifestyles and the authorities who will simply make the right noises and let them kill themselves - it’s no skin off their noses. Only a cultural shift will change this - it really isn’t worth reporting on anymore. -

You will only get the unfrozen amount for the time you are in UK, when you return it reverts to the amount you were paid when frozen. Not reset. Even if you only go back to UK for month you will get the unfrozen amount for that period -

You will receive an unfrozen pension during the time you are in the UK but it will revert to what you what you were paid before when you return. It is not reset at the current rate -

It's a technicality,in order for the funds to escape taxation there can't be a legally defined benefactor, that's why the trustees have the final decision. In practice your expressed will will always be observed. Calm down and don't make a rash decision based on an imaginary problem. Believe me I know about will trusts.. -

Do some maths on the effect of inflation and the severely reduced spending power having your pension frozen in time say over 10 _. 20 years. And then consider why having contributed equally they should be discriminated against particularly when they will not be burdening the NHS with costs. But I expect maths isn't really your forte...
