  1. They might ask it from the person they are targeting but Thai RD would would have little joy in a fishing trip across the gammiit of card suppliers in U.K. Perhaps if there was some high profile serious specific crime investigation might they obtain cooperation from the U.K. authorities, but to a foreign tax authority of Thailand’s standing,I doubt.
  2. That happens a lot here reflecting the much lower employment costs vs the costs of installing automation- the equation in developed countries is much different. Productivity is obviously much lower in thailand consequently which is not a good thing ultimately and they will eventually fall behind other countries by not focusing on upgrading skills/education..but that’s another story…
  3. For some time using the "open banking " where it redirects you to your banking app to authorize them to take payment (which then happens at the bank end and confirms approval) and then on the redirection back to Wise there have been error messages " something went wrong " upon return to Wise site and the transaction fails and reverts to "pending" on the wise app. I had been in contact with my bank Santander who confirmed they’d authorized but Wise had failed to take funds - but Wise insisted there been no problem (technical) their end ,must be a network error , however others payments I made using this method worked seamlessly. This went on for several months. Finally last week when I pointed out by process of elimination it MUST be them they finally admitted to a technical error their end which would take them some time to fix (they’d let me know when!) and to do the manual transfer option until then. I was furious with them for not establishing/addressing this issue promptly. However the manual transfer costs the same ,takes little extra time and funds arrive just as quickly. Has anyone else had this issue? I don’t think there’s any extra potential for fraud as even HMRC (U.K. tax) uses this same system..except theirs works!
  4. As older industries diminish, new ones arise where people get employed. To resist that is like Canute and artificially supporting such is economically ruinous. But there's at least another 10 years of increasing demand for oil based products /fossil fuels ahead anyway
  5. 4 days on Blackpool pleasure Beach in March is more than enough for anyone! 😞 ☔
  6. 26th March to 1 April is 10 days? You are Dianne Abbott and I claim my £5! 😜 Yes I know he'll be lounging about in Thailand beforehand...
  7. Oh for God's sake don't bring the poor swiss into it, they've got enough on their plate !
  8. Stellios, the boss of easyJet UK said ”If you think Safety/maintenance is expensive try having an accident "...
  9. Data protection in the country of the card would deny access to them. Unless you volunteered it how would they obtain the information or even know you had such card?
  10. In further developments and in the spirit of compromise an image of Pad Mee noodles being eaten OFF the attractive lady with the caption "Delicious" has been released. The ambiguity has satisfied all parties in this spat...
  11. No,it's supposed to be their subscribers that do that...if you're lucky! 😋
  12. Yes,Bob,but sadly won't give you a second look - probably even put them off their Pad Mee noodles... 🤢
  13. We are allowed to enter free on the 30 day stay. UK are proposing something similar for Thais , exactly the reciprocity you reference
  14. Frankly, given our low unemployment and difficulties recruiting workers I doubt it'll impact too negatively. On the other hand Thais are "notorious ” for NOT planting bombs and forcing Buddhism down their hosts throat....
  15. ...and kicking doctors in A&E ... (Await confused emojis from hard of thinking)
  16. The cluelessness is all yours. Quote ” the second stage reduces the pressure of the interstage air supply to AMBIENT pressure on demand from the diver. Operation of the valve is triggered by a drop in downstream pressure as the diver breathes in" Note "ambient ” but probably another thing you don't understand. You simply quote certain texts without any understanding of their relevance or application to the point made. I'll leave you to your wilful ignorance.
  17. Bob,it's always followed you around without boundaries. It's not me,it's you...😆
  18. Yes I always wondered what significant benefits the ADV had over the Click . Click certainly better manoeuvrability in towns and assume adv better on longer runs but as you say the same engine
  19. This incident was sponsored by the Swiss embassy…
