Well, the app isn't working, and neither is the website. How the F are we supposed to comply with the TM30 requirement?

Thailand Pass Is Up And Running

Reading this thread, I'm all the more grateful that I applied for a COE prior to 1 November. What a mess! -
Morchana and Thailand plus problems

The Thailand Pass app won't accept the six digit code associated with my COE either. Another winner from those Thai IT geniuses. -
Any thoughts on this CoE situation ?
fusion58 replied to TorquayFan's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Strange - my revised certificate was available about 24 hrs after my COE was approved. It still says “not less than 7 days,” but there’s some additional fine print following that sentence that says “eligible for quarantine-free entry,” etc. -

All you have to do is revisit the link you received via email (the link where you accessed your approved COE) and you will find a revised COE certificate, i.e., one which reflects the changes in quarantine requirements, available for download. -

Flying in 4 days, no sign of COE yet?
fusion58 replied to Gjk7777's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
It’s my understanding that for those whose COEs have already been pre-approved, the embassies will continue to process those applications until 7 November. -

According to what source? I’ve seen no notice to the effect that COEs approved prior to 1 November will only be honored until 7 November. -

I was in a similar situation. I had to call the embassy several times, have my wife call the Thai language line several times and send a message to the embassy via Facebook Messenger before I finally found someone who was willing to help me at the Washington D.C. Embassy. To compound matters, I was getting conflicting messages (sound familiar?) from different staffers, i.e., one woman with whom I spoke told me I was too late, i.e., that the embassy was no longer processing COE applications, and the next staffer simply asked me for my six digit code and said “check your email.” I received my final approval about an hour later. An anxious roller coaster ride, to be sure. -
When were these changes made? Am I still required to provide a TM30 receipt along with all 90-day reports going forward? If so, then do I simply submit the last receipt I received (Jan 2020 in this case?)

It just occurred to me that this will be the first time I will have entered Thailand and gone straight from the airport to a hotel in Bangkok (as opposed to my residence, also in Bangkok.) Will the ASQ hotel submit a TM-30 form on my behalf when I check in? If so, then will they provide me with a receipt when I check out? Also, will I need to submit another TM-30 when I return home after checkout? Thanks for any advice.

COE still mentions 7 days of quaratine
fusion58 replied to khrai's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
You can revisit the link you received from the embassy (the one you used to access your COE) and you should find a revised version of the certificate which reflects the change in quarantine requirements, i.e., reduction from seven days to one day. My revised certificate was available ~24 hrs after I received final approval on my COE. -

Thanks - had I not read your post, I wouldn't have known this. Was able to print an amended version of my COE. -

Mine took almost three weeks (and about a dozen phone calls and FB messages to the embassy) for final approval. -

Dollars to donuts the BIB and the civic leaders have "private establishments" where they can go to imbibe and to get their weasels greased. -

FWIW… UPDATE: COE / THAILAND PASS The TP website has reconfirmed it will indeed be online on November 1st. The MFA has posted an update today allowing those who have obtained COE pre-approval to be able to obtain final approval until November 7th. SUMMARY: Apply ASAP for COE pre-approval if you are arriving on the first week of Nov. You can view additional information here: https://AQ.in.th/TP -
It’s a complete clusterF. My wife and I are traveling together. She has received her COE already - I have not (even though we both applied at the same time.) To compound matters, I’m getting conflicting messages from the Thai Embassy in Washington D.C.: the webpage says the embassy will stop processing COE applications on November 1st, whereas a staffer my wife contacted via Line app indicated they’ve already stopped processing all COE applications.
