Its as bad as the guy I overheard in TukCom asking the stallholder if the latest Samsung Mobile which was on sale for a couple of thousand baht was genuine.
Quite, he should have been thrashed within an inch of his life....

How about providing decent schools free from nonsense about 'citizenship' and '12 values'. Of far better value to the future of the country than pointlessly throwing a scabby pittance at people, encouraging irresponsible population booms.

Park up at Central Bang Na, then nip up to Udomsuk BTS on one of the shuttle buses or in a cab.

There will still be those (on the left) wanting to divert the focus away from Islam on to the often imagined 'evils' of Israel and US foreign Policy. Incredible.

There are too many grey areas for mr in this debate. On the one hand you find those moaning about 'invasions of privacy' who then seem to become outraged that the authorities 'didn't do enough' to prevent outrages as seen this week in Paris, yet still seem to be calling that the security authorities don't use the events of the past week to increase their powers in preventing such horrors happening again.

I'm guessing that alcohol was a prime factor.
was drinking with Mr. Phisit Mangkhang (38 years old) who is the owner of the house where the body was found, a Mr. Yingruk Banhan (37 years old) and Mr. Tom, a freelancer were also drinking with the victim. On the night in question a fight broke out during which the deceased was beaten and stabbed to death.
Mr. Phisit was subsequently questioned by the police, he claimed that he was very drunk and went to bed early before he heard people arguing outside,
Indeed seeing as they were 'drinking'.....good work Sherlock....Do you think a woman was involved in the dispute too?

Surprised none of the usual apologist gang have sprung up here blaming the 'faLang" for not having a PhD in Thai culture like they all do....

Bear in mind that many trains from Surat Thani get busy so you may have to book a fair bit in advance.
It is a pretty nifty little trip down to Penang where the food is great. Shame is that by the time the train hits Surat Thani the restaurant car is closed which is the highlight of the trip for many.

Oddly, these supposed heinous crimes all involve Khun Farang getting his knickers in a knot about what Thai people do in their own country that causes inconvenience to farang generally and high quality sex tourists especially.
Why do you write like this as though you're not a 'farang'? You'll never be Thai....very disturbing behaviour...

Should I spend 200 Baht on coffee or just head along to the lounge?
Who is coming along and how much discount for three towers of Leo?
Now I know your trolling, as mrs SMOKIE doesn't let you out of the house with anymore that 100 baht.
And even then he apparently just blows it on 99B breakfasts and never brings home the 1B change for some reason much to Mrs Smokie's vexation....

If you're paying I work it out as a 100% discount for me....

Hearty congratulations Ryan from me and Mrs Plant (soon to be Bell)

They really need a 99 baht coin
Or, perchance a 69B coin if one finds oneself rubbing shoulders with the 'Nomads' in a particularly reeking grubby dive in Pattaya if you can find a seat for al the umbrellas....
-
I wonder if the TVF Bar does a 99 Baht Beakfast ?
If you see George and Tywais running down Sukhumwit, sniggering, their pockets bulging with snaffled 1B coins, you know they do......
-
Never mind oil. What happens when the price of a sweaty breakfast in Pattaya falls to 49B?

You could buy a nice bag of marbles for 2 quid
Come in handy to replace steroid addled <deleted>...

The real history, thanks a million!
LOL. Written by a bog trotting 15 year old who seems to omit the IRA's cowardly random slaughter of innocent people, especially kids across the UK in the 70s and 80s or their bullying and intimidation of their own communities in Ireland during the same time period. What a crock of abysmally written monkey knackers (I'm guessing by a 15 year old Yank). A mod should kill that drivel......
You mean they waited hours until the guy was drunk and easyAnd this Fenian 'hero' was trying his luck with a load of old men.....sounds about your limit pal....Was funny watching the sh*t switch from his gob to his legs as soon as the lad told him to step outside....

I was also embarrassed by his antics. I mean what's next? Western beggars asking for smokes and money. Get stuffed
Next time you see him why not ask him face to face and let your feelings about his activities known to him instead of ranting on an anonymous forum making a fool out of yourself in the process? Then you could maybe provide some true quality entertainment for the locals was he knocks you flat on your back requesting you mind your own business.
Maybe you could join the TPV and arrest the villain? You seem that type...

"...the boyfriend, whom she has never met..."
"...a typical 'handsome-man"
"The nurse said she had to remortgage her mother’s farm to get enough money to make the transfers, and now the family is left with nothing"
Gambled.
And lost.
Nothing new...
So that makes it OK then....
Some of the apologists for this thief make me sick. It is no wonder we old sexpats don't want to encourage digital pikeys to Thailand...
Can't people get proper jobs anymore they have to resort to such low scams on the naive?
I bet he will be here soon bragging about his pikey 'earnings' and his inability to get a table at a food court soon....

So you mean you are like a modern day prostitute? "Earn my share"? so she can have a fun trip to Europe she's always wanted? You do indeed sound like a prostitute.
As does your 'Girlfriend''.....now pop orf.....

I feel really sorry for these women that fall victims to unscrupulous scammers.
The dream of getting a farang husband and having a better life is still at large in Thailand.
Hope that these scams get better coverage on Thai media to warn future victims.
Till then.....we will be hearing again and again of similar cases.
Why feel sorry for stupid?
First she was stupid to call someone she does not even know a boyfriend
Second she was stupid to believe someone she does not know to be a boyfriend
Third she was stupid to think someone would give her 1.1 million dollars
Lastly she was stupid to think someone who gave her 1.1 million dollars would not pay $10000 postage .
She then was even more stupid to think postage can cost $10000.
Did she think her bf was sending her a house?
What a rather lame list of excuses...you sir, are a vile apologist....

Errrr, no .
Thats business. They can always refund me. Some do.I leave negative reviews quite easily. If the product is rubbish or not as described then the seller deserves negative feedback and lower sales.
I love it when they send a message saying to change it or they will be killed. I never do and never hear back.
One of the many buyers sellers hate to sell to, awful attitude
If you sell crap products, customers deserve to know.
Customer should do the research and use some brain.
High quality products do not cost 0.95cent posted from China .
Sometimes it's just little common sense
I think the scam is in the 0.5 cent change rather like a grubby 99B breakfast scam.
This thread is not the best ad for the digital pikeys really....and they wonder why we don't want these cheating guttersnipes here....

The entire incident lasted less than a minute.
I know how he feels.....

Speaks volumes that they included that line in the narrative. They may as well just have written 'He's connected, he'll get clean away with it'' but probably didn't have the bottle to go into full implications of dealing with a military officer. Thoughts go out to the copper and his family. One hopes the lad sees the inside of a jail for the next 20 years of his life but we all know he'll maybe get a slap on the wrist, publicly, at worst, then it will all go away....
Sa Kaew is a sparsely populated provice. When I lived in AP the kids used to love to race between AP and Amphur Sa Kaew. The road is twisty turny, light on traffic, which can make for a white knuckle bus or car ride at any speed at all, so I can imagine how much 'fun' it could be for a kid on a bike.
