  1. Nothing but goods things to say about BIDC - had a bit of work carried out. Inc: Wisdom tooth extraction, cleaning, fillings, laser whitening. All good and costs are transparent. https://bangkokdentalcenter.com/ RAZZ
  2. Any ideas for a condo/serviced apartment for a month or two - preferably with only a small deposit? I think a one bed/studio is about 16-18k, a two bed about 30k a month. https://globaltopgroup.com/pattaya-real-estate-properties/olympus-city-garden-condo-for-sale-pattaya/
  3. It is nearly 2023. Bkk and other holiday resorts should be 24 hour Cities. Most can go somewhere and eat, drink and party anyway. Might as well make it legal - but then there's no "tea money" in it! RAZZ
  4. So Marlene Headley born in the UK to Barbadian parents take an African tribal name from ethnic groups she is most likely not from. Cultural appropriation at its finest. RAZZ
  5. https://globaltopgroup.com/pattaya-real-estate-properties/olympus-city-garden-condo-for-sale-pattaya/ https://grandavenuepattaya.com/ Should be able to get them for about 16-20k a month. Maybe not during Christmas/New Year.
  6. Maybe the weather has been better than Samui where it's been raining non-stop. RAZZ
  7. Where? In Bangkok can't go wrong with: https://bangkokdentalcenter.com/
  8. Just watch the video of his gf.... It seems most in the crypto space are conmen/women but just a it geeky! https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11426245/Ex-girlfriend-FTX-Sam-Bankman-Fried-bragged-needed-elementary-math-run-start-up.html
  9. You need to get it signed by a solicitor then legalised in the UK. https://www.gov.uk/get-document-legalised Then get it stamped at the Thai Embassy in the UK. https://london.thaiembassy.org/en/page/81905-legalisation?menu=5d6636ce15e39c3bd0007344 Then certified translation and stamp at MFA. Much easier to get an agent/tout to do it - loads hanging around in the entrance - and you know your translation will be approved. Makes it easier to register in the local Amphur for when you apply for Yellow Book. P.S Whilst you are doing this it might also be worth getting your birth certificate done as some immigration offices ask for it to get a Yellow Book. RAZZ
  10. I thought they stopped? RAZZ

  15. Any recommendations where to buy Cannabis seeds in Thailand? Would prefer a local variety you can just plant outside. It'll give me something to do. RAZZ
  16. Right, my wife and I (well her) have a house in Bangkok. At the moment we live full-time in the UK. However, it looks like we might be moving back to Thailand soon and there is a "possibility" that she might be getting a position in IconSiam when it opens in October (?) This would probably too far for a daily commute from our house near Suvarnabhumi. I don't know the Riverside area too well apart from a short stay at Lebua about 12 years ago The River seems to be a 5 minute walk away from her workplace. However, the development seems to get very mixed reviews. I know a lot of units seem to unoccupied and there are hundreds for sale on : https://www.hipflat.com/projects/the-river-ujzrci You can buy one like this: https://www.hipflat.com/listings/bangkok-condo-abjjjmik or this: https://www.hipflat.com/listings/bangkok-condo-akgcxzzy or this: https://www.hipflat.com/listings/bangkok-condo-ingbqanz Having never lived in a condo what should I /we be looking out for? Obviously, the "view" which is why most would buy at The River - but you don't live outside What are the drawbacks of the "basement" type units? They are about 1/3 the price of a high floor of same size. I quite like the look of the one I posted above - seems like a Townhouse. Anyway, please don't "flame" me - as I said I don't know the area and this is just from Internet research. If not The River - what other "decent" condos are in that location? We are not adverse to perhaps buying in the Ratchadamri/Sukhumvit area but would probably be out of our budget. (10-20m baht - got to be above 70m2) And nothing further than a 20 minute commute. Many thanks RAZZ
