  1. I love that song...will never be able to listen to it again... and will cancel the Krabi holiday.
  2. A lot of schools are closed for in-class lessons. AAA is starting next week. Duke in the New Year.
  3. Exactly. Some great Interior designers here and their prices "can" be very reasonable. Have a google and look at their websites. https://www.livingroomideas.eu/meet-the-15-best-interior-designers-in-bangkok-youll-love/ Or Houzz. https://www.houzz.com/professionals/interior-designer/c/Bangkok--Bangkok--Thailand RAZZ
  4. Terrible - website re-design but here's one: https://www.siamhomesource.com/property-type/renovation-project/ Can search foreclosures: https://www.dotproperty.co.th/en/properties-for-sale/bangkok?foreclosure=1
  5. Sounds like a lot of grief. Dealing with contractors in "Farangland" is a nightmare - god only knows what it is like here. I would look at an older building (say 10 years) where someone has done it all for you - then you can just tweek it. There are a few agents with refurbishment properties for sale - if i remember the links i'll post. RAZZ
  6. With the big re-opening on Nov 1st, TAT originally predicted 1m tourists by end of the year. Quickly revised down to 700,000. BkkPost - last week 12,000. They won't get 100k a month with this shambles in charge. RAZZ
  7. Personally, I would go to an Apple store (the main ones in Bkk at CentralWorld or Iconsiam) and speak to an English speaking Manager. There is an English/thai guy at ICONSIAM (name JP?) and an American at Central. They know the score and will sort it out.
  8. Dr. Macbook - used them several times, phones and laptops. Not sure where the guy is from but is a "farang" of some sort not Thai. RAZZ
  9. No personal experience but this guy has completed some good projects. https://www.thaigardendesign.com/ RAZZ
  10. This is Kazy Kozy which is on Soi Cowboy. Apparently there has been some movement of top coppers at Thonglor...so the new lot are showing who's boss... I always thought that this was owned by "Police" along with "Crazy House" (which somehow managed to open on a main road despite not having licences?) so they were pretty much "untouchable"? 5c14966f-4e92-4517-b74e-ce0dc2138e60.mp4
  11. The "Powers That Be" will have an unpleasant surprise come November 1st - no-one is coming! RAZZ
  12. Quick websearch. Going early Dec and returning before Christmas on Thai. Economy 27k and Business 120k.
  13. I think the WAG was more a fashion/party crowd - Madame Jo Jo's was more for a load of old queens ????
  14. Very interesting. Used to go to the WAG Club in Soho, London.
  15. Chrono24 is a German Company which basically provides a web portal to International watch dealers. So, if you see a watch you like - click on "contact" seller and you can see the advertiser - then google and see if the same watch is on their own company site and check the difference in price. (Most are about 5%-7% more expensive on Chrono to pay their fees). As mentioned - Watchfinder in the UK - (expensive and now part of Richemont Group) Burlington Arcade is expensive - David Duggan has been around for years. Some used watches are definitely cheaper in Thailand and there are plenty of trust worthy sellers. You can start on the 5th Floor of CentralWorld - there are about half a dozen used dealers next to each other. I find "Inter Watch" the most friendly - opposite the Asiabooks pop up. RAZZ
  16. Online in Thailand or in the Uk? New Ceramic Daytona you will be paying double list price. RAZZ
  17. To the OP. I am pretty interested in watches. I could write a massive post about where to go in Bangkok and buy used. But if you want to meet up I can show you or tell you. What did you want to buy new? I have a few contacts as my wife was in the industry here. RAZZ
  18. I'll buy it off you. I'm in Bkk. RAZZ
