Maybe as much as 3 months in one spot . I want my Thai friend to sell me her car... If we don't change ownership to my name... Is the car insured for me to drive? Is the car insured or the driver insured in Thailand? Any issues driving a car in Thailand that doesn't belong to me? OR.... at any checkpoints along the way just say I'm renting the car?
