Why not say here how long you have been here on tourist visa and how many times have you been in & out, that will explain why they said "too long" A tourist visa is for 60 days + 30 day extension. Other than gap years students, world travellers and the independently wealthy, not many can afford multiple months of work free tourism. Do you fall in any of those categories?
